They're made of solid stainless steel, and yes, the sizes are listed on each unit in French. They're 11 1/2" long, but they don't appear to be machined very precisely in my set. For example, I can go from a size 25 to a size 29, but the 27 listed size is out of my reach. Keep in mind that you may encounter a similar variation as you work your way up.

It was a huge let down. Although the sounds appear to be of good quality, the individual sound sizing is terrible. For my set, using calipers, the sizing appeared to be as follows: br>The value of 33 fr was around 30 fr (10. Rather than 11, use 0 mm. 0)br>The value of 35 fr was around 34 fr (11. Instead of 11, use 3 mm. 7)br>The value of 37 fr was around 30 fr (10. Rather than 12, use 0 mm. 3)br>The value of 39 fr was approximately 35 fr (11. Rather than 13, use 7 mm. 0)br>41 fr was equivalent to 35 fr (11. Rather than 13, use 7 mm. 7)br>43 fr was equivalent to 39 fr (13. Rather than 14, use 0 mm. 3)br>br>It's extremely disappointing; I expected more precise work from a company with the word "Precise" in its name. br>br>While the smaller fr sounds appear to be much closer to the expected values, the discrepancies become more apparent once you get past 30 fr.
Also, the circumference is extremely small. If you're buying these with a little bit of with, the pictures and information don't do it justice; if you're buying these with a little bit of with?
