While I'm not sure if they are dye-free, the blue doesn't come out, so there won't be a stain. The white surfaces remain white when I use it
There is a disposable culture in our world! They are thin and does not last very long if I reseal them. A better quality item would be a better choice

Despite washing my OR towels only once, I still have some that have been used countless times and are in better shape and a better material than these towels that I have used repeatedly. Towels with a very wide weave, roughness, and not absorbency are the ones I have been using recently. It would be a waste of time and money to The left towel is a new towel with all wrinkles and the right towel is an old towel with wrinkles.
Despite being relatively absorbent, the material didn't hold up very well. Surgical towels from the past were thin and similar to gauze, and were very rough as well. After washing the material puckered up and did not lay flat like our old towels did, so perhaps this is the new industry standard. The theses I have from years ago are still in good shape. I purchased these because I wanted some more and they were a good price however, they are somewhat thin and rough compared to what I had before. The old set is long gone, and I wish I knew where I got it.
It is the worst towel I have ever used! It is awful to use surgical towels. I have been using them for many years. The thread count is low, and they shrink up to 1/2 their original size. It's a shame.
Thin as a sheet of paper, these are. They were bought so that I could make masks from them. Surgical towels are recommended because they are very absorbent. These are transparent, so you can see straight through them. They are very thin but might make a good rag to clean with.
Pay for what you get is a lesson we learn from this incident. These towels are nothing like the old surgical towels I have, and they wrinkled after just one wash. They aren't great, but I kept them to mop up dog drool and water. I would not purchase this product.
