They are manufactured in China.
They can't be used as a tourniquet because they're too weak. Perhaps if you tripled or quadrupled them, but not on their own.

I just threw them in a gallon ziplock bag and called it a day because the product is great for the price. I used them as plant markers in the garden. Because they are made of wood, they will degrade over time, but this isn't a problem because they will be composted: )br>br>Poor packaging/handling of the product during shipment did not go unnoticed, but that is not the manufacturer's fault. br>br>I'm not sure who picked this order up from the warehouse, but the product box was placed in a paper envelope for shipment, which destroyed the packaging of the material and snapped a few of the depressors because they were lying around in the bag.
Ok. These were required for a bondo project. They didn't have to be sterile for me - I didn't need them to be. This is the case. So, if you're looking for sterile tongue depressors, look no further - If you only need a few for a few craft projects, you might be able to find some that aren't sterile; my problem was that I didn't want 1000! I didn't need all of this, but I did want fewer. Each one is wrapped and sealed separately. In a cardboard box, everything is neat and tidy.
The tongue depressors are fine, but every time I get a single package, it's completely shattered and there are pieces all over the place. The box has been obliterated entirely. I didn't order the 10 box set of 5 in my last order. 5 boxes of 100 each. My order appeared to be quite light when it arrived. I only got half of my order when I opened the box, which contained only a set of five. It's advertised as a ten-box set, but it's actually only a five-box set. This is definitely deceptive advertising.
During waxing services, the sticks are coming in thin and breaking. I have to choose the sticks as I work, and if I forget one and add wax during a wax service, I have to toss it before using it for fear of it breaking and injuring my client. My most recent order was for 6 boxes, and my previous order was for 5. I'm hoping they fox this, or we'll have to look for another company.
These are my personal favorites when it comes to tongue depressors. In every way, they are flawless. They are kept sterile by the packaging, which is also very easy to open. They also have a great flavor. earthy, with woody undertones.
When I mix epoxy and Bondo, I use tongue depressors. To make a flat end mixing stick, I used wire cutters to cut the round off. This brand is light and easy to work with. I prefer a stiffer tongue depressor, which I can get from a local art store for a cheaper price, and I've been using two sticks at a time to increase the stiffness for my purposes. For the money, there are a lot of sticks.
I'm not sure why this wasn't shipped in a box but rather in a bag/envelope. Sticks were strewn across the shipping package, completely obliterating the original product box. I can't use them on my clients because they're no longer sanitary. What a waste of time this has been.
It works like a charm. Our dogs have discovered a way to extract pills from Pill Pockets. On a tongue depressor, PB is amazing.
