A few years ago, I cut my big toe, resulting in a slow scarring wound, so I went looking for 100% cotton gauze pads (called sponges for some bizarre reason) to bandage the wound. There used to be several brands, but now Mediline is the only one that does not use polyester. I find them to be sterile, individually packaged, and fairly inexpensive. I was able to refold them to produce exactly the right length to wrap around my foot. Putting sterile cotton on my hurts feels better than polyester to me, and I think the idea of sterile cotton near my hurts just feels better to me. All the leftover treats I have left are still in their store-bought packets. I'll wait until I need to use them next. The products I have in my first aid kit are excellent.
The purpose of wound healing is to improve the healing process.
Medline seems to be the only company that sells the gauze made from 100% cotton and free from latex for my husband, so I always buy it from them. It is the only company I have found that sells.
The expected outcome was achieved.
I did not get what I ordered, and I didn't think I was getting what I ordered. It would not be recommended.
