At both ends, is there a velcro closure? Only one end of the pipe is what I want. ?

Those end pieces are bound with velcro. This product is of very high quality.

It does not seem possible that they are five yards (15 feet) in length. Can you tell me how long it is?

Yes, the bandage may stretch up to 15 feet, but no, it's not 15 feet long. After surgery, it was used to compress an area in order to aid healing. It was not measured or analyzed.

How does 5 yards of fabric compare to 10 yards?

Our group uses it several times a month, yet we think that with frequent use it should become durable

It is definitely worth a few extra cents that they do not smell like rotten fish to have Medline bandages on hand

Thanks to the Velcro attachments, washable, reusable, and long wearing of the bandage, it is well worth the price. Generally used to protect open wounds while they heal, it is a good product for wound care. This is a good alternative to compression socks while the wound heals.
