Is this something that would be suitable for an armchair rather than a wheelchair? Will it cover your feet if you're sitting in a regular chair? I'm looking for a smaller blanket to go with my regular chair. ?

Warmth, softness, and a wonderful feeling. It is, however, 36" x 42" in size. It was specifically designed for use in a wheelchair. I believe something in the 36" x 60" range would be a better fit for an arm chair. My reasoning is as follows: Pull it up over your arms to take a nap while still keeping your feet covered. I just got it today, and I think it'll be ideal for my wheelchair-bound mother - law. But seriously, instead of a box measuring 11" x 39" (as shown in the attached photo), the item could have been shipped in an oversized envelope.
