It has been several years for me, but beyond that one thing stands out I have three cushions, none of which have rust.

An unfortunate purchase was made at a high price. Although I read the reviews and decided to go with it, this was not satisfactory for our purposes. Her redness and oncoming pressure sores were caused by a recent stroke and she needed something to relieve those symptoms. As a result of her use of this cushion, she only became worse. She has gotten better results from the wheelchair cushion that came with it. Because the company had a 'no returns' policy, we just threw the $100 away. This was a very poor experience.
I am in love. This one was bought for my husband after he replaced his hip, and I have another one (because I have bad back) and I have another one. Our long car trips are much more enjoyable since it helps us stay awake!.
My doctor told me this item would relieve my pain, so I purchased it. As soon as I try to sit on it, my issue becomes worse rather than It is something I would like to return.
Initially, my mother tried four or five other cushions with donut holes but they did not heal her bedsores. So we bought this cushion. It only took her a week to notice a difference in her symptoms, and now she carries it everywhere. I've had a lot of fun. Furthermore, her doctor advised her to make sure she's eating enough protein and to use a cream to treat her sores. She has gained a lot of benefit from the combination of these three factors.
The 3 units so far have all failed due to poor bladder resupply, though some attempts have been successful in correcting the problem.
