No, it is not compatible with all types of walkers.
My Drive walker was too small for me. I eventually gave it to my mother, who uses a different brand of walker.

Following knee replacement surgery, I purchased this tray to fit over a standard walker. The goal was to gain some self-confidence. Being able to transport my own belongings, particularly food, makes me feel self-sufficient. The tray, on the other hand, did not fit well over the walker arms, causing it to slant. Food and beverages were difficult to transport as a result of this. Also, I had not realized that the front of the walker's feet are obscured by the try over the arms. Walking became dangerous as a result. The tray is of good quality, but it was of limited utility.
To keep this tray from tilting, I had to think outside the box. I purchased pipe insulation foam tubing and cut two small rings to place under the front sides of the tray so that it rests on the rings and does not tilt. Simply place the tray on top of the rings and attach them to the walker. I was going to use four rings, but two are sufficient and I didn't need to use all four. I have a Drive walker that folds up with a push of a button. If you're going to buy foam tubing, make sure it's the kind that sticks together to close your ring.
My mother, who is 91 years old, is adamant about not using it. She won't use it outside of her apartment because there isn't enough room for her hands (there is, but it is uncomfortable), and she can't see her feet. She also has an iDrive wire basket on the front with a cup holder, but she must remove it in order to use this tray. She can't place a plate or a coffee cup on it because it's too slippery. We attempted to lay a non-permanent foundation with no success. She'll put a slip mat on it, but she'll never use it for the rest of the reasons.
This is what my mother refers to as the "Cadillac of walkers. " " If a senior is on a tight budget, Medicare is likely to have provided the most basic of walkers for an elderly person: , in particular, is difficult to accommodate with a Universal Tray. Instead, this walker "glides," creating a sense of "security" while walking. " The additional nylon bag it comes with is a convenient place to store needed and immediate items without having to go from room to room or place on top of [a] tray. This walker looks great with the Universal Tray. My mother now has peace of mind and is no longer burdened by anxiety.
Here at the 5-minute mark, I'm going to post something. In response to many of the negative reviews, we have received five-star reviews. The vast majority of the one-person businesses are The tray does not fit their walker, so they gave it a one-star rating. The tray, it appears, is not truly "universal," but rather "one size fits most" clothing. Here are the exact dimensions of my tray (N. D. ) in the hopes that they will be useful. There's no way of knowing whether all of the trays are the same size): br>br>First and foremost, the pointed side of my walker, as well as the cup holes, must face the user, as shown in the photo. (If I place the cup holes at the top, the tray will not sit properly. ) ) The tray itself measures 20 34 inches wide by 14 12 inches vertical on each side (sides measured parallel to the length of the slots), with a depth of 15 34 inches in the middle. (The diameter of the cup holes is 12 inches. ) )br>br>The inside measurements of each slot are 1 7/8 wide by 11 12 long. The slots are 18 inches apart from center to center, top to bottom (the slots appear to be slanted in the photo, but they are not). Each slot is 19 7/8 inches apart measured from outside to outside, and 16 inches apart measured from near edge to near edge. br>br>I've found it to be a very useful tray for transporting food and drink while maintaining the stability of using a walker with two hands (rather than one hand for food and one hand for the walker).
It didn't fit my walker, despite the fact that it met the specifications' measurements requirements. It didn't slide down far enough to be secure, and it didn't leave enough room for a man's hands to rest on the walker's handles. The item was returned to me.
On the walker, the tray was a good fit. The openings cut to hold glasses, on the other hand, were too small to accommodate a regular-sized glass. Also. Because people who use walkers are in some way handicapped, this tray was very thin and not very sturdy. br>br>However, the tray fit well on the alker. The tray is sturdy, but the slots that are supposed to go over the walker handles are too short, so it doesn't slide onto the walker properly and is therefore useless. br>br>This should fit everyone, but it doesn't.
