It is already a big problem that these wheels are so bad. The only time they'll last is a few A pair of grey skis would have been a nice add-on. There was a lack of quality in the product. The tires were supposed to be substantial, but they only seem to be made of the thinnest and cheapest plastic. Mom's disability, old age, and inability to walk 24/7 requires her to use a walker. Having bought these for her second walker for excursions with doctors and such, I thought that they would be more durable than regular walker wheels, and they would last longer. It has been used only TWICE on regular concrete parking lots, simply moving from the car to the office, and it is already showing signs of There are no brakes on the wheels, and the wheels are made of cheap plastic. I bought this product after wearing out the wheels that came with my standard walker (tread was coming off), since I love purple. I've been using the walker every day for 30 minutes, seven days per week (for exercise), and the wheels are still going strong after this extended use. No one of these accessories is indestructible, but I believe a number are intentionally made like crap so that the unsuspecting majority senior citizen community will continue to buy over and over again! My main concern is that this purchase will last several months, based on the short life of other wheels and glides I have tested in the past. In relation to glides, don't get too excited about the free glides that come with the product. They are utter garbage (to put The glides need to be forced on and off with a screwdriver and almost cause personal injury. Here is a picture of mine after a few days of use on sidewalks and asphalt. They should not look like this after that short a period of use. I had to put one of them in a vice in the garage to extract the badly worn.
