There's a hole in each one for height adjustment and these are about 12" long. The walker can be attached to the back or front legs of a standard Medicare walker. According to the instructions, the wheels should not be used on the back. However, I had a good amount of mobility after hip replacement surgery and found the walker managed more easily with wheels in place. In the case of anyone 75 or older If I were 100% dependent on the walker, then I would not use it on the back due to the possibility of falling. In addition to a plastic tray that fits over the handles, a plastic tray is very useful.
There is no wheel kit compatible with Metro walkers made by Stander because they do not use this type of wheel Tubes made of metal are standard.
Drive walker does not have these wheels, but from the pictures, it appears they are not compatible.

As my wood floors get scratched by the slides and I am pretty stable after hip replacement surgery, the wheels work better for me. They recommend the slides for stability and to prevent people from falling, but I have found that the wheels work better for me if you are not totally dependent on the walker. According to an earlier comment, they were not compatible, however they are perfectly compatible with a standard medicare walker, and if you have to go outside, they are definitely.
These wheels make it much easier for her to navigate with the walker on carpet and outside. Tennis balls are not effective on carpets or outside. This is definitely something I would.
Mother, who is 97 years old, uses a walker so that she can get around, and the rear wheels have worn until they are wobbly and about to break. I believe my Mother's basic walker can be maneuvered more easily, and it is easier to load and unload from a vehicle with its smaller wheels and rear skids.
