Questions & Answers

Is it possible for you to sit and push yourself? Is it true that I am a paraplegic?

Unfortunately, if you sit in a rollator and roll around, the wheels and bearings will break. They aren't made to support a person's entire body weight.

How well does this work out in the yard on grass, gravel roads, and other terrain? Is it only suitable for use indoors?

I have two rollators at my disposal. The Healthcare Direct 100RA has 6 inch wheels and performs less well on "Loose" surfaces than the Drive Medical 10215RD-L. 8-inch wheels are available on one model. The Healthcare Direct 100RA, on the other hand, performs admirably on packed gravel, very short grass, or hard dirt, as well as on floors and all paved surfaces.

What is the maximum height that can be accommodated?

According to the listing, the age limit is 31. 35 inches in length I put together a ten-person team (10-person). Is it really only twelve minutes? I made this for my wife's mother, but I didn't take any measurements. I'd say it's between 31 and 35 years old. The handles are adjustable up to 35 inches in height. It's a good fit for my wife's mother, but I'm 6'3" and it's just a little too short for me. However, it appears to be strong enough to support my 225 pounds.

Do the handles on this rollator move up and down?

The brakes, however, do move. You can pull them up for a quick stop and then push them down to lock them in place.

Never in a million years did I think I'd be praising a Walker! I'm 45 years old and live in the United States
5/5

I am nearly two decades old and have had MS for nearly two decades. I used to scream at anyone who suggested I might need a cane or walker for times when I was having more difficulty before my mother got me this walker. I admit that I would not have been so obstinate if I had known how useful a walker could be. I used to look at older people's walkers, as well as the walkers that people brought to the MS clinic, and they always appeared to be more of a struggle than anything else. This isn't a struggle at all, and I'm actually going out more because I feel like I'm going out and getting some rehab even when I'm having a hard time. It's simple to move around, fold, and store, and I really like the seat! I'd stopped going to a lot of places even when I was in the middle of feeling good or having my "problems" because it's difficult to find a place to sit when you suddenly realize you need to. And, to be honest, it's similar to rehab because I'm now moving more by going more places, and I'm also challenging myself to engage my core tightly when I'm standing in line, so my core is getting stronger as well. I used to try to just engage my core before I realized it was important for strength, but I'd get so frustrated when my legs turned into what I called "robot legs. " As I walked, my muscles would stiffen to the point where I couldn't move at all. As a result, the robot that has been dismantled is more precise. Thank you so much for the wonderful set of wheels!.

For the money, this is a fantastic rollator
4/5

It was purchased for my mother a few months ago and has proven to be extremely useful. She weighs 180 pounds and stands 5'5" tall. The seat is the right height and width for her, and it appears to be sturdy. Like the cloth basket she uses to carry around her oversized purse. She simply turns around and takes a seat when she becomes tired. The only thing she mentioned as a dislike was that learning to use the hand brakes took some time. We don't have anything to compare it to because she's never used a walker before, but it looks nice and works well. br>****update**** This rollator has now been in my mother's possession for a year, and she continues to use it on a daily basis. There are no issues with it, and we've found it to be extremely dependable and a fantastic purchase.

First and foremost, let me state that my everyday Rollator Walker is a bariatric rollator walker from the "Drive" brand
5/5

That's the model I've been using for a long time and am very pleased with. As a back-up, I bought the Healthcare Direct 100RA Steel Rollator Walker. For the purposes of this review, I used the Drive model as a comparison. This Healthcare Direct 100RA Steel Rollator Walker is much lighter in weight and is much easier to load into a vehicle for shopping, visiting, or any other type of vehicle travel. Compared to my Drive bariatric rollator, this Healthcare Direct Rollator fits through doors more easily. As a result, I have to settle for a narrower seat that barely fits me. I'm just over 300 pounds, so a bariatric-rated rollator is the only option for me. This Healthcare Direct Rollator has a 350-pound capacity and costs about half as much as the Drive model I purchased a few years ago. The three spoke, 6 inch wheels initially worried me, but they perform admirably on hard surfaces and lock by pressing the brake lever down, just like the Drive model. br>Assembly was simple and quick, the construction appears to be solid, and the finish looks great. Although I prefer my Drive rollator's metal basket under the seat, there is a storage pouch under the seat that is quite useful. Maybe it's just that I'm used to it - It has a similar capacity. Final Thoughts a decent rollator at a reasonable price.

I'm very happy
5/5

This was purchased as a gift for my mother, who suffers from hip issues. It's something she really enjoys. It's very sturdy and folds up to fit into the trunk of a car. She stacks items on the seat, such as folded laundry, and rolls it to where she needs to go. When she becomes tired, she can also sit on it. It's a great product at a good price.

Look at the photos! It's simple to put together! It's simple to use! Sturdy! I understand the importance of safe medical equipment as a former healthcare worker with elderly parents
5/5

My mother is 81 years old, and my stepfather is 91 years old. They continue to live an independent lifestyle, walking the mall, eating at restaurants, and so on; however, they will not be skydiving anytime soon. In any case, if you've made it this far, you're already aware of the importance of maintaining independence. Whether you're recovering from an illness or injury, or you're experiencing difficulty walking as a result of natural aging, we can help. This model has a lot of great features! ASSEMBLY: It took me about 15 minutes to put together (there were no instructions). The thought of having to assemble the handbrakes was my worst nightmare! I was overjoyed that they had been pre-ordered. put together! The wheels are held in place by only four large triangular screws, with the adjustable height being held in place by two more. The bumper bar is installed without the use of screws. Assembly does not necessitate the use of any tools. FLEXIBILITY OF USE: It's incredibly simple to use. Smooth and pivoting is excellent. The pre-cut pieces made folding a breeze. Strap is easy to pull once it's been assembled. Keep in mind that this is not only light (19 pounds), but also very portable and durable. It can hold up to 350 pounds of weight. Take note of the following: Please show your loved one how to use the hand brakes to lock their wheels if they have never done so before. This isn't the same as simply squeezing the handbrake to slow or stop the vehicle. When they go to sit down and rest, make sure the unit is completely locked, and the only con I can think of is the storage beneath the seat. You don't want to overfill it because it's made of vinyl and has velcro straps. I've included a few images for your consideration. Grandpa refused to participate, so my teen son stepped in to fill the void. Please let me know if you have any further questions or require additional images. This is a great value for the money!.
