I've had mine since 2017 and am considering purchasing another because they're only $20 and I'm sure I could use an upgrade. Even so, it's still a big step up from a regular seat cushion, and I'd recommend it.
As far as I can tell, this cushion does not contain memory foam. It's much thinner, so it's probably comfort foam (whatever that is), but it worked well for sciatica and appears to work similarly for coccyx injuries. Best wishes to you.
Mike: This cushion isn't even close to being soft. For its design and functionality, I gave it five stars in my review. In fact, you could be driving under the influence. I used it in our SUV while driving up north (650 miles) and had no back problems, and it fit the car well (the driver's seat is a power seat, so I was able to move it down a little). Overall, it's a fantastic pillow.
This has made such a difference for me as a pregnant woman that I've just ordered a second one for the home office; I highly recommend it.

I've only recently received this, but I'm already impressed. My height is 6 feet 3 inches and my weight is 307 pounds. The other brand of this type of cushion, for which I paid $10 more (and which I recently returned), was nice for about a minute before flattening out. However, it appears that this is still the case. It covers my entire office chair, and I tested it out on my car seat as well. It might be a little too wide for some kitchen chairs with backs that extend further into the seat area, but that's about it. Everything else should be okay. Just beneath a "severely herniated disk," L4L5, I have a cracked "s" something or other. So, yes, I require this to function properly for me. I hope you find it useful.
I no longer need any pillows to sit comfortably on the computer for long periods of time. Because I have a bad back, this is ideal! It's also kitty-approved, as I've found that whenever I'm gone, my cat is sleeping on it.
The cushion itself is exactly as it was described and shown in the advertisement. br>br>As a non-native speaker, the one major issue I face is that Even before I opened the plastic package, I could smell cigarette smoke. What makes it worse (or better) is that the cushion has its own strange new polyester-like odor (sorry, no other way to describe it), on top of which you have the cigarette smoke odor. This cushion had been soaked in cigarette smoke for quite some time. br>It will remain outside until the odor dissipates, which should happen soon. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. br>br>.
fabulous. Sitting is excruciating for me because I have piriformis syndrome. This is something I keep in my car and at work. It takes the sting out of things. By the end of the week, I used to be in excruciating pain; now, I'm sore but not in excruciating pain. I'm so happy I got these; they've saved my life. I was also able to go on a two-hour car ride to a hot springs, which was extremely beneficial to me. I doubt I would have been able to make the trip by car if I didn't have this.
I'll leave at 8 a. m. and return at 8 p. m For visits, I drove 9 hours to my mother's and sister's homes. About 5- Even with a few stops along the way, 7 hours in, I can barely bear the discomfort of sitting for so long. Especially since I was experiencing a sharp pain down my left leg. This cushion distributes the load across the back, relieving pressure on the spinal column. According to reports, the hole in the cushion allows the tailbone to 'float,' relieving pressure and nerve pinch. It is effective. I used it on two 2000-mile summer tours and had no nerve pain. I still had to stop to walk around every now and then, but there were no sharp pains.
I spend a lot of time sitting in my chair, working on my computer, as a college student. If I sat for too long (5 hours), I noticed I had a lot of tailbone pain, which caused me a lot of discomfort and a very tender tailbone for the rest of the evening. That was enough for me, so I ordered this fantastic item and put it to the test. I have been sitting on it for the past 4 days and I have to say that it has rid me of my tender tailbone 90 of the time (unless I'm angled at a funk It's also quite comfortable to sit on. It's neither too soft nor too stiff. I expected the hole to bother me, but it feels like I'm sitting in an inner-city subway station. The only strange thing was that I was raised two inches higher in my chair while sitting in it, but I got used to it quickly.
I'm 5'10" and weigh 137 pounds. I was also unable to use this cushion because it was too small for me. It's extremely uneasy. My feet were completely numb after 15 minutes of use. I'm not going to be able to do it. I'm not sure why I believe all of the positive reviews I read before purchasing something. I'm disappointed.
Normally, I work for eight hours at a desk. This is a fantastic seat cushion. I usually sit at a desk for eight hours a day, and the chair I've been using has no padding at all. My tailbone would get incredibly sore after a couple of days without a cushion, but the pain is completely gone after just three days of using this. I would strongly advise anyone thinking about purchasing this to do so. It's a middle-of-the-road type of vehicle. However, keep in mind the size of the cushion. My height and weight are 5'11" and 160 pounds, respectively. It's also the ideal size for my body type.
