I am not certain. My mother-in-law, who is now 82 years old, weighed 111 pounds. It is very comfortable for her to sit in her wheelchair while using it.
It depends on which areas of your body you'd like to feel better in. Put the dips in the front/back if you want more relief for your tailbone or groin. If you're looking for a way to relieve your sitbones (or both sides of your bum cheeks), try the side to side dips!
I measured the opening on the bottom of my cushion by turning it upside down. It's 3 at the very bottom. 6 feet by 75 inches 5 inches. I believe the u cut out in the cushion makes the top area appear larger. It worked wonders for me when I had a fractured sacrum.
Look into the specifics of the item. I believe it is between 250 and 300 dollars. 300 lbs.

She has pressure sores/bedsores under her tailbone/coccyx bone region that can't touch anything or will get another sore. After trying everything, including buying cushion after cushion, wedges, and positioning pillows, this was the only one that was thick and firm enough to support her weight and the pressure she puts on that area when she tones up. It completely shields her coccyx, preventing anything from pressing against it and causing sores elsewhere. While on it, her weight and body are definitely evened out. She sleeps on it every night and during the day to take a break from her chair. It's still going strong after a few months and has healed sores she couldn't get pressure off of before. br>br>I don't usually write reviews, especially ones this long, but this woman would be in so much pain and have no relief if it weren't for this donut cushion. It's the ONLY one that's worked and lasted.
Despite the fact that pillows come in a variety of firmness levels, I found that this one compresses far too much under my weight to provide any relief. The pillow arrived compressed in a vacuum suction bag inside of a much thinner box, which might work for a smaller, lighter weight person, but it didn't work for me. When no weight is applied, it expands to a fuller size, but the shape does not hold when pressure is applied.
At the moment, I'm 31 weeks along. The pain in my lower back progressed to tailbone pain, making it difficult to even get out of my chair. I'm so glad I bought this cushion because the pain is almost non-existent (at least when I'm sitting)! It gives me enough support without being too hard or soft (I'm 5'3"). I'm currently 140 pounds) and would strongly advise anyone with tailbone pain to try it.
I've been experiencing sciatica pain when I get up from sitting for the past four weeks. I've tried a few things, but none of them have worked. This cushion arrived a week ago, and I've been sitting on it in my recliner since then, and I've noticed I'm not in as much pain when I wake up. I'm aware that it's probably too soon, and I'm hoping that the pain does not return. I'll update if it stops working for me, but for the time being, thank goodness I haven't had any pain since I began sitting on the cushion. Thank you so much for such a wonderful cushion thus far.
When sat on, it basically flattened out. Didn't do anything to alleviate the discomfort. No problems were encountered during the return trip.
This pillow is ideal and exactly what I was looking for. It's just the right amount of softness and height. I bought it for hemmroids and to make it more comfortable after sitting all day at home working. It's a perfect fit for my office chair. I've even moved it to my bed to use as a seat while watching TV from there. Prior to purchasing it, I looked through a lot of advertisements for other pillows and chose this one at random. This is the one I chose, and I'm glad I did. It is something I strongly suggest.
Way better than what you get after giving birth in the hospital. br>Pricey, but good quality and thickness- The hole improves comfort and will last for the next pregnancybr>Fits and is comfortable in any location (car, chairs, couch, bed)br>Travels well.
It's far superior to the rubber blow-up version. When I had to accompany you, I wasn't as embarrassed.
