My husband has recently been paralyzed from the waist down and is learning to function independently in his new situation. We purchased two of these straps and placed one on each of his legs, allowing him to move his legs as needed for transfers. They are extremely effective. They do tend to slide down his leg and need to be pulled back up for him now and then, but he and I both enjoy them.
I also appreciate the fact that it is wide enough for my larger leg, which was a difficult find. I'm so glad I came across this product; my physical therapist was also impressed!.
It's far too big! Because it was so large, the Velcro didn't even touch! I couldn't use it as a thigh-high boot. lifter of the legs.
The items are exactly what they say they are, and they do what they say they will do.
I use it to stretch, and securing a strap to my leg while laying on my stomach is difficult. This method is applicable to a wide range of exercises.
That's an excellent idea! I searched high and low for an exercise strap that didn't hurt my hands (as yoga straps do) and didn't stretch out too far (as rubber straps do). This is fantastic.
