Questions & Answers

Which pair of crutches do you think it is?

Per order, you do receive two crutches.

Can these withstand high winds and what are the maximum heights they can reach? I thought they would be too big for my 5-foot-2-inch son so I brought adult ones. ?

Your child will have trouble wearing them because the socks are too short. The crutches on my daughter are on the last adjustment hole. She is 48 inches tall. In spite of that, they are quite sturdy and strong.

Can you tell me how it is? What are the pros and cons of it?

I am sure it will be a highly personal process for everyone. A brain cancer surgery resulted in partial functional recovery for my son. These are beginning to be used in physical therapy as a more independent way for him to move around. However, he has some balance issues, which means that he must use a gait belt in addition, which makes assisting him to use these more difficult. While they can assist in climbing stairs, they are not necessary. My best wishes to you!

From the shortest to the tallest person, what is the height range for size small?

Below is a chart of the height range Whether you're 15 or 60, we have an array of sizes to meet your needs. The FC300 is available in four different sizes 4'5", 4'4", and 4'5" I am 5'5."

The children are fitter than the adults
5/5

In my search for crutches on Amazon, these were the only ones that I found that fit me well, which is surprising since I am an adult. At 5'5", I assumed the adult forearm crutches would fit, but they did not. I ended up pinching my ulnar nerve because the cuff was too high. It was the only pair of crutches I could find that could accommodate my height AND fit my In addition, they were lighter in weight. I was not very happy with the cuff and handle of this suit. Plastic is used for the cuff. It is expected to break eventually, but it has not done so In addition, I have a complaint about Although I am well below that maximum weight, after I place full weight on the hand hold, the hand hold moves slightly. As a whole, I think I made the right decision to purchase them and weigh the pros against the cons.

WARNING DO NOT USE ON FLIPPERY/LOSSY surfaces, such as tile, veneer, or vinyl
5/5

I was able to use the crutches without underarm pain, but beware of slipping one on the tile floor, which caused me to fall and break my foot in three places.

A durable material
4/5

Due to the fact that my son is highly active, he often breaks his crutches, so having extras is helpful. There are some very nice kids' forearm crutches available here. This chair is easily adjusted to fit your There is no bending or anything like that in the cuff. They are very durable, however, and suitable for children with lots of energy.

For shorter adults, it has a light weight and fits perfectly
5/5

Since I am 5'1", the adult crutches did not fit comfortably under my arm and I experienced shoulder pain. It is much easier to use these forearm crutches, and they are also quieter. If you've ever used a crutch, you're familiar with the noise associated with the play in the button height adjustment. In addition to the fun color and the plastic forearm piece, the purple forearm looks I am so happy to have them.

Ensure the child has a good sense of balance
4/5

These were bought for a 3 year old with a broken leg by my husband. However, she was too uncoordinated to use them, despite the fact that they fitted her very nicely.
