I've been using them on a daily basis and they're still going strong! It may be more difficult to clean the bent part, but the brush can help. The straws have no effect on the taste. I would definitely recommend it, especially since there are so many straws for only $3!.

I am the father of two young boys. The older of the two sons is almost four years old, and the younger is two. They may require straws to drink at times. I purchased some plastic ones, but they are not reusable. This set comes with straws and brushes that are easy to clean. To keep in the family, this is a nice set.
