Questions & Answers
When I look at it, I think you could do it, but you'd have to put it together while it's still standing around the toilet. br>To tighten the bolts, you'd probably have to sit on the floor with someone holding the upper part still. I might give it a shot myself.br>
There is no need for any additional equipment.
Given that the toilet is surrounded by an outdoor carpet on our floor, I'm not sure.

Drleonards provided me with a toilet rail. One of the arm welding came apart, and the com eventually broke. I received this one and was ecstatic to discover that it was built much more solidly and was much easier to put together. No screwdriver is required to put it together because it is held together by screws with handles on the top that you twist to insert. The only drawback was that it was 5" narrower from arm to arm, making it a tight but manageable fit for me. Then I saw the comment about switching arms, and now I have a lot of space! Dr. Leonard's/Carol Wright is known for selling low-cost items. This is a top-notch piece from beginning to end. I don't think the arm will ever break. I'm 5'4" and while I can't get up or down by grasping the middle of the handle (it's too far back), it doesn't tip if I only use the front of the handle and still provides enough support.
I have one for my home and one for each of my children's homes so that I am at ease when I visit them. Durable and reasonably priced. I'm sorry, but there's nothing else I can say.
If you're over 5, you'll be able to grab it in half the time. I'm 5 feet tall! I believe so. It is (but) sturdy. If you're over 5 feet tall, it's too low to hold to halfway through standing, so you'll have to do half of the standing and sitting without being able to hold on; If you're taller than 4 feet, it's obviously not as wide as it could be. Yes, you can turn the handles outwards to add about 6 inches to the width. Unless you're very short, this is a terrible design.
It was a breeze to assemble. For people who are heavier, this is a good option. It's a good size and it's very sturdy.
It was simple to put together this item. It's ideal for any bathroom setting. For anyone who uses it on a regular basis, it is unobtrusive. Unlike some similar models, this one is large enough to accommodate you on both sides. I strongly suggest it.
This was excellent immediate assistance for a family member who had fractured his foot. It has a small footprint and doesn't take up a lot of room around it. For long-term disabilities, I would still advise installing a permanent handle bar.
With a disability and only being able to use my left arm, I found this product to be very sturdy and simple to put together.
I'm 5'4 and this low height didn't help me stand up straight.
