There was more to it than just the batteries being dead mean, the pen did not work at all. The performance of this product is great. It has good brightness and a satisfactory battery life. There are a lot of different color choices available. It is ideal for being used in a hospital setting in general, I think. Nursing students and nurses out there should check this book out.
In a nutshell, I really like the colors here, and they are very bright! Although the pink pen light does not turn on without being tapped, the teal one is far better. I think it is pretty good overall for the price.
Previously, I had a pen light that I bought from a medical supply store that provided a softer light that was more suitable for use at the hospital. There is a difference between the use of one and two AA batteries in this one. In addition to this, the brighter bulb is also not suitable for eye dilation since I can damage my sight if I look toward the tip when shining it elsewhere. I cannot use this one, even if I'd like to, without extra precaution. There is no way that is appropriate. I was a bit disappointed with the lighter blue pen. It was not metallic at all, rather it was more like a M&M marker It has an ugly coating of M candy shell. Though I had considered returning it, I decided to keep the pens as I will have to use the mini flash light away from my young children and My old medical pen light needs to be replaced, so I guess I'll be on the lookout for another. I hate you.
You've got my heart. Is easy to use and does not require you to hold down a button while using, kinda heavy compared to other penlights but nothing too out of the ordinary.
I think these are awesome, but they aren't In checking for reflexes or shadows in the anterior chamber, they are so bright that they could damage the eye. The item was purchased for medical reasons, so I had to return it. This was a nice, slick job. There needs to be actual patient safety in these machines.
In the past, I would go through disposables constantly, and either they would break or drain rapidly. I found the penlight to be a durable and it has a good battery life. A couple of penlights that used replaceable batteries have been used, but they are typically I can easily carry it in my pocket and it is sleek. For those in the medical field, this is a definite recommendation.
