Using it on an ambulance is my job. I find it to be very convenient! However, there are times when it automatically turns on in my breast pocket just for your information.
Maybe 4 or 5? It's a pen light, so who knows?
Selected User Reviews For CAVN Pen Light with Pupil Gauge LED Penlight for Nurses Doctors, 2 Pcs Reusable Medical Penlight for Nursing Students (Black/White)
In the field, I used a pen light to assess patients for the first time since working as an EMS provider. I highly recommend this product given its bright white LED, as well as the chart for sizing pupils and the ruler for measuring wounds, incisions, etc. I will recommend it and will buy it again in the future.
I ordered replacements after the batteries in my previous pen light died (I couldn't find or replace the batteries). One of them ended up being needed for an emergency a week after I got them, so I'm glad I ordered them and had them on hand. Taking AAA batteries is a nice feature because you can easily replace them since they are commonly available. This item worked well and I enjoy having two so that one of them is in the first aid kit and one is on hand.
A retired nurse, I have a lot of experience in this field. Despite the fact that I do not use these in the way that they were intended, I like them. They're a great little light for my pocket book to carry next to my sofa for searching for lost items in between the cushions, and as a small spotlight when looking for items. They are handy to have in your pocket bag at all times.
For nursing school, these were ideal. EDIT Thanks for the heads up! I only dislike it for the fact that it is so easy to push that I always find it accidentally turned on due to how easy the button is to push. It would be nice if there were a lock to prevent you from accidentally clicking the button all the time. But I think it is still a nice app.
The purpose of these was to create a comprehensive first aid kit for the house. I like their durability and the light they emit is not too bright. You need to click the button firmly in order to turn them on, so no worries about them accidentally working.
As soon as you insert the batteries, they work quite well. A pupil gauge is located on one of the sides of the measuring tool, which has a centimeter scale. I am very satisfied with the product. You can hold it a little further away from your patient's eye if it is a bit bright. Because batteries do not come with them, you will need to have them on hand.
I like the brightness of this pen, and it's easy to use too. Because I have not kept it constantly charged, I am unable to tell how long the battery will last. The battery has not been replaced so far. My experience with my purchase has been positive so far.
I like it a lot. The materials feel good and are well made. You can press the button really easily. It makes a nice clicking sound as well. It is a very bright light that can be used as a flash light, as well. I enjoy working with it for EMS in general.
