There are 10 areas that are tested. Defining categories such as leukocytes, nitrites, uribilin, protein, pH, blood, and serum level. There are four factors to consider gravity, ketones, bilirubin, and glucose. The urine sample is tested for these levels and the results are shown in a colored chart with timing instructions that can be followed in order to obtain details about any variations from the normal range. To ensure freshness, each one is individually wrapped.

When I bought a box, I looked at the expiration date and saw that the test strips were halfway to expiring. A pair of them is good for two years after the manufacturing date, but it's already been a year since they were manufactured. My Amazon rep said they had solved the issue and would send me a new box that's not already a year old. I called them back and they assured me they would send me a new box. It was the same date on another box I got. In order for them not to go bad before their expiration date, I spent more and bought the individually wrapped ones. However, I ended up with test strips that are probably going to expire before I can use them. It was a very disappointing purchase and experience with the seller.
As described in the description, it has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture, compared to other brands with a shelf life of 60 months While I didn't expect to have 2 years to use the items, at the very least, I thought I'd have at least a year. Not at all. In eight months, the package will expire. In the first two years, only 33% of the money has been invested. Aside from that, the product appears to be okay. It had an expiration date, so I had to exchange it. My phone conversation with Amazon assured me I would receive a replacement that would have a later expiration date, but the replacement was from the same batch and is also set to expire in the fall. Both packages were returned to me. The product would have been great if I had been able to use it, but since I knew I would not use all 30 in 8 months it wasn't worth keeping.
Having worked as a Medical Laboratory Chemist for decades, I have extensive experience with multiparameter strips. Following opening, they have a very short shelf life and accuracy period of 3 months. In the hospital, we never had to worry about that since we used up the opened jars within a few days of opening them. It is a large hospital. The situation at home differs from the one at work. My way of using them occasionally is to test my family members, but mostly I use them to monitor our cats with various health issues (I keep them out of the litter box before they have a chance to cover). In my opinion, since the sticks are so well wrapped, I feel pretty confident that they offer accurate results beyond the 3 month period.
As a result of constant pain from kidney disease, I am no longer able to tell when I have a kidney infection or UTI. You can now stop wondering about your blood test results with these strips! We no longer need to wonder & You don't have to guess anymore! In addition, I save a lot of money on doctors bills and lab bills -but most importantly, I save a lot of time! My husband also benefitted from these test strips as we were just experimenting and had him test so we could check the strips accuracy and I am so glad we did as we discovered that there was blood in his urine along with the fact that his kidney stones have returned. This also explained his intermittent back discomfort. It felt so good to realize they were going to do unfixable damage months/years before they incurred it. There is only one downside to the test strips, and it is the fact that there is not yet an iOS/iPhone app available so you can keep track of your results.
I am very satisfied with this product and it is The ability to quickly and easily monitor pH, glucose, protein, and ketones. In addition to this, other things can be seen in urine. You don't have to worry about the strips going bad since every packet comes with an individual one. It is easy to read and understand the.
It does everything I need and is the easiest to use. This is a really great product that I need to use weekly and it prevents me from going to the doctors office. it also saves me a ton It's easier to use the unwrapped ones when they have more because these have more but then turn colors before you use them all, so it's a waste when you buy the individual ones.
You will be able to use these easily if you know how to use urine test strips properly. Having an app is great, but it would be even better if it worked on Apple devices.
Whether each of these areas needs to be tested is unclear to me. Their ease of use makes them popular. You may have a hard time reading them at times due to the colors running. Ideally, the chart would be printed on every package so we would no longer need the paper for reference. The price is reasonable, otherwise they are a great deal.
