If you have never used it, it probably isn't something you want, but once you have been using it you will find it to be a staple in the lab. It is a fine product, however, the box had a broken bottom and I had to tape it up in order to keep the roll in place. As the roll is pretty heavy, it is likely to have ripped during shipping. The single wide is my first experience with this method of construction. I've always used double wide, and I prefer it more because the stretch thins out the horizontal width so much, and it can be cut thinner to suit your whim. I'll definitely purchase more (possibly a double-width) as soon as I run out. A lot of good stuff comes from Parafilm.
I used it to wrap 20 petri dishes and it didn't work. In the beginning I stretched it, but as I saw those fail, I wrapped the rest without stretching it, and either way it dried up and cracked where the lid and base The price makes me think this will not be worth it, so I switched to glad mini rounds instead.
The masking tape I bought is for masking canopy parts of model aircraft. There is no doubt I can use the roll for a long time to come. It seems to me that the trick is to stretch the parafilm first. I am still working on it, but it does look.
As described in the advertisement, it worked perfectly for my mycology project. It contained contamination while still letting the dishes.
The seller was great and customer service was excellent. Even though I only left an average feedback, the seller contacted me personally and sent a second one at no cost. The second one is intact, and it sticks beautifully. The seller will be recommended to me.
Every agar worker must own this. We are waiting to see if the quality is equal to the Para Films since I got some that are a little cheaper.
As expected, the event went well. This is a parafilm used in laboratories. I expected something more, but this is what I got.
I find this tape to be very good for what I need.
