It might work for an adult back, but not for a kid's

It might be ok for an adult back, but for a small child's back or someone who has a short back, it would not be accurate at all. As a mother of two children with scoliosis, I was able to compare the results from the doctor's office with the results provided by this device. A parent might panic if they use this since it is inaccurate. In addition to being too large, the groove on which it slides over the spine is too large so it can move to one side or another, no matter how steady your hand is. Having this kept me from having to worry about excess radiation in between appointments, and I was able to track the rotation of the curves.

Worked in practice

I am a pediatrician and have been wanting to use one for our office. I was able to objectively show a mom that we are okay with her observing for the time being, with no need for X-rays. The scoliosis will not be detected by x-ray or referral at this time
I cannot use it on a known patient, but I will update later.

I cannot access the website. In the middle of the moving ball, there is an angle other than zero. Although placed on the desk, the device moves to the right side. When put in your hand, the device moves to the wrong side
Update A new one was made for me. one did not have a ball inside, but just a drop of water, so it did not function.
