A few of the court-ordered clients I deal with are sneaky, and they have more than once submitted urine samples containing bleach or other substances Clients have submitted apple juice or Mountain Dew in the past. Methadone clients cannot submit anything other than urine (since we check for EDDP, the metabolite of Methadone), but I wanted to know if these cups could detect if someone not on Methadone was submitting apple juice or Mountain Dew. The cups worked flawlessly, and I am delighted with their performance. As an alternative to urine, I conducted my own test using apple juice. The procedure was quite My procedure for testing apple juice was the same as for urine testing I poured a few ounces of apple juice into the cup, waited five minutes, and read the label.
