What is the accuracy of using this ?

I hope your day is going well. In order to obtain truly accurate measurements, neither of these nor any other skinfold caliper devices can nor should be used on oneself. As a result of movement and limb range of motion, it will be impossible to correctly hold, maintain, and read the caliper without doing some body movement, and this error will appear. If you want to be sure that these calipers are true measurers, have a person with good experience and training do so. I found these to be quite useful in measuring others. My students learn personal training with these and they have a great experience with them.

Can it be measured with a tape measure?

Unfortunately, the measuring tape that came with my order was not included.

What are the options for replacing the springs?

Yes, if you can get it in the right size. Personally, I would just get a digital one. In case of an emergency, I picked it up

Keep up the good work. I am a formal personal trainer and this type of Caliper is more accurate and reliable than the other type of flimsy plastic. The purpose of using calipers is merely to see your starting point and get a baseline for your measurement. If you don't know how to use them, then just know, you are simply sizing yourself. To get the best results, you need someone who will do it the same way every time. If done in that way, it will be The measurements will also work if you have different people do them, but they will not be as accurate if each one uses a different technique. It's very good! I'm very pleased with it!.

A total of 1 came within this time frame. The accuracy of my hydrostatic measurements was 8% higher than my hydrostatic measurements. They have both been taken care of- I will be on the same hour as you.

It may seem discouraging but when I see the scale going down, I have more motivation to lose weight because I know I'm losing fat. There are some areas I can measure by myself, but others I need help with. I was surprised at how accurate you were.

It took me a while to realize how big it was. Although it is a bit large and awkward, I compared it to another brand name skinfold device and it is just as accurate for a fraction of the cost.
