A Small is what I'd suggest. I'm a 32x34, and the Small Tall is roomy enough for me to grow to a waist size of 34 during the holidays. I tried the non-tall length, and it appears to be a 31-inch length. The length is 32. I also tried a medium, which felt like a 36 (waist) size.

I'd compare it to Nike's Dri-FIT material. fit. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 165 pounds, and the size Small is perfect for me.
br>Fit and comfort: This is the third pair I've purchased. I've been looking for a pair of lightweight pants that don't bind at the waist and don't easily slide down. I usually wear a size 40 waist, but some pants can be tight in the waist and still slide down, even with a belt. I weigh 240 pounds but carry my weight in my belly, so I don't have a slim waist or enough butt to keep pants up, which is annoying. They ran too big for me in a size XL (believe it or not), but the large fits me perfectly. These could be a little tight in the thigh for some guys, but the stretch is just right, not too stretchy, and the waist stretches with the rest of the pants (which is a huge plus). I can use the drawstring to cinch in the waist while still having a zip fly (yay). These are only meant to be worn in the summer. br>br>Fashion: br>br>Fashion: br>br>Fashion: br>I wear these pants to work with a shirt that isn't tucked in and no belt hoops. They look great, and they're not at all like scrubs (6 pockets and a fly), cargo pants (pockets are neat and flat), or skinny jeans (legs aren't tapered). They "pass" as regular pants thanks to the front, back, and thigh pockets, as well as a fly closure; in fact, more pants should be like these. I bought white, pewter, and navy as my work pants because some of the color options aren't exactly office-appropriate. Because the white is so bright and the fabric is so light, wearing light-colored underwear with it is a good idea. br>br>Provide: br>br>Provide: br>br>Provid br>While I usually dislike synthetic fabrics, these pants are not itchy or sweaty, and they are cool and breathable thanks to the light and thin fabric. I pulled my trusty white "scrubs" out of a pile of unfolded laundry this morning; they were rumpled until I put them on, but by the time I got to work, they looked crisp and neat.
It's a fantastic material that's both athletic and cool to wear. It's also very easy to wear and move around in. Updated information: I've worn these pants around the house during quarantine because I adore them. I folded them as soon as they were dry, and the wrinkles have been gone for a week. Pants that are super comfy and versatile. At home, I don't use the side pen pockets, but at work, they're fantastic! br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I really like the pockets after wearing them for an entire shift; I haven't used the side cargo pockets yet because my stethoscope is still in my smock top. The pen pockets are particularly impressive. I usually wear a 34/30 pant, and I ordered a medium short, but my ankles are very visible when I sit down; if I bought these again, I'd order a regular medium. However, I was bothered by the wrinkles. We'll see how they turn out once I wash them. br>br>I'm still on the lookout for the PERFECT pair of scrubs. I tried FIGS cargo pants, and for $60, the pocket placement was terrible; I don't want my knee to hit whatever is inside my pocket every time I walk. However, the materials were extremely nice, with no wrinkles visible right out of the box. The navy is a little lighter than everyone else's, and the legs are a tad loose for me. The fit is excellent, not too baggy like many scrubs, but still flexible. The waistband is a little loose, but that's why there's a drawstring! The pockets are fantastic, particularly the pen pockets next to the back pockets. Oh, and there are a lot of pockets. br>br>I'm not a fan of the velcro on the back pockets, but I no longer have a folding wallet, so I'm unlikely to use them. I also don't care for the fact that they're not wrinkle-resistant. They're not wrinkle magnets, but they did come with a noticeable wrinkle, so take them out of the dryer as soon as possible and hang/fold them properly. br>br>On the subject of durability, only time will tell. But they're light (until I stuff the pockets!). ) It's a nice fit and it's comfortable. I gave them an 8 out of 10 because they aren't as wrinkle-free as my $25 Dickies, and I prefer Dickies' ability to use drawstring, elastic, and button waist bands, whereas these Carhartts only have drawstring and button waist bands.

These scrub pants have a special place in his heart! Since I work 12-hour shifts in a crowded ER, I tried on his scrubs and have since ordered Carhartt scrubs for myself. These scrubs are *the* perfect pant for any job, from working in a kitchen to working in healthcare. I've been working in the medical field for ten years and have tried a lot of scrubs, but these are by far the best. They're light, airy, and incredibly comfortable. Don't be fooled by descriptions that claim the legs are narrow; they are not. The cuff at the bottom, which prevents the pants from dragging, is by far the best feature. Another huge plus is the crotch gusset. The quality is typical Carhartt, so you can expect them to last a long time. There are no belt loops, but the drawstring appears to be in good shape.
