However, the quality has not kept up with the previous decade. I love these jackets so much. My job is to be a clinician, which means I wear a jacket all day, and have been using this exact jacket for ten As a 6'3" 235 lb man with a long torso, the XL jackets have provided the best fit and most comfort I have ever experienced. I am giving it four stars because I have found the material to get lower quality with time. The cuffs and collar fray a lot faster, and the fabric is thinner on this most recent purchase. Among my first coats I still own are some that I bought in the early 2000s. Since there was dinginess on them, and the coating on the buttons began to wear off, I could not wear them in the clinic. A few of them had a pen lodged in the pocket, so they had to be washed. In addition to yard work and painting, I now use these tools for other projects. Despite the fact that the fabric is heavier, the cuffs and collar on the first ones I bought are still intact. My favorite coats are still in great condition, but I should replace them sooner rather than later.
As for sizing, I chose a Medium, since that is what I typically wear in a Men's. I would not describe the waist as relaxed in any way. As a result, I ordered a large size. There is still a bit of tightness in the waistline. I am disappointed by this. In spite of that, the jacket is quite nice.
