I'm still wearing my first mask, a medium-sized xplore 3500, because the standard 3M mask was too large for my petite face when I was fitted for it by Mining Site. There were no smalls available from any of the respirator manufacturers. Draeger was wearing a medium respirator, according to the safety officer, which is typically used for smaller workers. He was absolutely correct. Despite the fact that the medium barely fits, the mask is extremely comfortable and light. It's been ten years since I got it. It has a softer silicone than this small one, but it, like the head strap, could eventually wear out. When I saw that Draeger made this mask in a small size, I knew I had to have it. I had to order it because it was such a no-brainer! The silicone isn't as soft as my 10-year-old's. Draeger Xplore 3500 is a medium musk from Draeger. I'm hoping it "infiltrates" my system. This tiny mask adheres to my face perfectly. It's ideal for women with small frames. I'm willing to bet that this could be worn by a child or a teenager with ease. br>br>For this Rosie the Riveter gal, it's definitely a win! Thank you, Draeger, for bringing out a Small Size!! I guess I'll have to get a full-face cartridge next!.
I wish I had known that the mask required $100 worth of filters. At the very least, I expected one to be included.
Working with COVID patients is a breeze with this respirator. While working in the infectious disease unit at our hospital, I use it on a daily basis. It's light and airy, but it's snug enough that I feel secure wearing it.
I have severe allergies and am unable to work in my yard due to the fact that all of the other allergy filter face masks were too restrictive to breathe through. I tried out the drager, and it's fantastic. It's light, it's simple to put on, and it works perfectly.
