You can get a set of casters with your stool, but you can also get them separately. If you bought a stool from us within the last three years, the casters are still covered under warranty, and we can send replacements.
A built-in foot ring is included with the Perch Rolling Retro Exam Stool. We sell extra foot rings for various types of Perch chairs, but we don't have any for this chair.

December 2015 was the first time I bought something like this. br>I adore this stool in general. I can't stand for more than a few minutes at a time, so I bought this to replace a small rolling chair I'd been using in my kitchen so I could cook without having to stand. I didn't want anything with a hydraulic lift because they don't hold up under my weight. It appears to be well-made and should last a long time; it also rolls very well on my hard wood, perhaps too well, as I have to prop it up against the cabinets or something to keep it from rolling out from under me when I sit down on it. The seat itself is the biggest flaw in my opinion. It's on the small side, so if you're like me and are large/obese with a big backside, expect it to be a tight fit. I mean, it gets the job done, but it gets very uncomfortable/painful much faster than I'd like. After only one day of use, the cushion was completely flat. That day, however, was Christmas Eve, and I spent a lot of time in the kitchen. When I get off of it, the cushion returns to its original shape, and pressing on it with my hands feels very firm, so I believe it would be ideal for someone much lighter than I am. I've since purchased a cushion to go on top of it, but doing so has proven difficult because most cushions are larger than this seat and thus hang off the edge, making them ineffective. To make it more comfortable, I'm still on the lookout for a good cushion. However, it can be used in the kitchen for a limited time. I tried to make it as comfortable as possible in the photo. Update. br>br> This chair is still in use as of December 2020. It's extremely well-made. It's been moved to our "pet feeding station" and works great for that, or it can be rolled to wherever a chair is needed for a short period of time because it's not comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. It's ideal for short-term usage. It still twists up and down without a hitch and looks and functions as well as it did when it was new. On the basis of quality alone, I strongly suggest it. That is, assuming nothing has changed in the last five years. The majority of things are no longer made this well. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
This was a gift for my daughter. She requested a copy of the law be sent to her directly. I purchased a similar one for my son as well. I replaced the casters with larger wheels, which was a welcome improvement. Thank you for a great product and a great warranty on behalf of "Michelle. ".
I just got this product a week ago. Arrived on time, in good condition, and was simple to put together. br>It's well-made, with high-quality parts and an excellent design. br>I bought a seat cover that was "dark grey/tweed. " Fabric was treated with a waterproofing and stain-resistant spray for added durability. br>I'm hoping it will last for years and years in our "work shop!" br>Many thanks to Perch Chair.
The build quality is extremely poor, especially considering the price. There is far too much slop in the threading on the chair's bolt (the part that attaches to the seat). The chair has a slight wobble to it, in other words. I bought this to replace a stool I had from the 1960s, and I have to say that it is a waste of money in comparison to my old stool - They simply aren't built as well as they once were.
I can walk to a certain extent, but only to a certain extent. I've experimented with a variety of stools in the past. Others with pneumatic lifts, plastic bases, and flimsy wheels have all collapsed under the strain of my weight. I've had no issues with this product in over 18 months of daily use. Make this sturdy stool again and again. Love it!.
When legs need to be levered up, the ability to adjust is necessary.
My stool is extremely comfortable for me. In contrast to the pump style, I can adjust it exactly where I need it.
It's extremely convenient and relaxing. The use of thick memory foam and cloth is enormous.
