Models like this make me feel mixed emotions. There are several reasons why I like it -- its large size, a tongue, and the fact that it can sit on its own while brushing the teeth. What I don't like about this product is its matte finish, the fact that the teeth can't be flossed, and the fact that the soft, plastic tongue is attached with a screw, which can easily fall off when I'm sending it back since the hinge is too flexible for me and my teeth lean to one side.
My model arrived damaged and scuffed, so I'm Even though I would love to like this set, you will find that it isn't as remarkable as you might think. Perhaps I would have given the model another star if it had arrived in good condition.
As part of my class's oral hygiene education, I ordered this awesome set to demonstrate how to properly brush their teeth and understand oral hygiene. The mock dental appointment was also a great prop to show them what will happen when they go to the dentist. In my classroom, I teach a toddler class, and my job is to expose them to things outside their familiar environment Despite the soft tongue, the mouth is perfect. The tongue can move and it is easy to use. My only wish would be that the teeth were separated so we could practice flossing in between them. Although, I am overly happy with it for the price. Even the toddlers' hands were easily able to use the toothbrush. Joints made of metal are nice and strong and can be fully opposed. A small chair was placed on top of the mouth so that the children could brush their teeth.
It has been amazing to use this product during my speech therapy sessions! I'm a speech therapist. The visual is very large and allows me to display the placement of the tongue for speaking. I highly recommend this purchase!.
The mouth model I am looking for is for a speech language pathologist's use to demonstrate tongue placement in the mouth and to talk about Despite my high expectations, this product has exceeded them. There is a good amount of quality there, and the tongue can be easily removed if you want to play with it or substitute It is definitely a product I would recommend.
I found it to be more substantial and bigger than I had anticipated. The gum and teeth should be of good quality. Metal cable that can be easily adjusted and is sturdy- The hinges in a door. Teaching my autistic daughter to be thorough when brushing and to brush her tongue as well has been extremely helpful. It is good quality to have a big tooth brush. I have a lot of work to do There is no flossing available on the site. There is only one rubber piece for the teeth. Despite that, I still believe that this purchase was worthwhile. I would recommend it to others.
There was some disappointment that we couldn't floss the model, but all is well.
It doesn't seem like any hard work was required to remove the tongue since the teeth were great. This is not a very good quality product.
This is so great! My SLP sessions will be perfect with this.
