Questions & Answers

What happens if I use it on my ?

have been using Secure for about two weeks now and have a full upper and lower. According to the company, the upper stays secure for 12 hours (even while eating and drinking). I think the degree to which the lower is stable depends on how much bone is There's not that much, and the denture starts to fall off after about four months I applied Secure 5 hours after installing it. For that, I have no complaints about the product. While I must reapply the adhesive for the lower a few times a day, I have discovered that if I reapply an hour before getting into my car, I can eat pretty much anything I want. It may be easier to get a transplant if someone has more bone in their lower ridge. Lastly, I want you to know this It takes only a small amount of this product to achieve the same results. When it comes to applying just the right amount of adhesive for maximum grip, there is a definite art to it. If you use too little, the adhesive will fail. If you use too much, the adhesive will fail AND you'll end up with goop in your mouth. It would be best for you if you did what I did -- You can order a test tube and experiment with it. So long as I'm not alerted to a better product down the road, this is what I will be using.

Because the product claims to be "waterproof" and is used to secure dentures in your mouth, I again ask, how do you clean dentures and your mouth properly?

You are Mech998. When you keep your dentures in your mouth until they break free from the gums, they become loose. On the dentures, all the residue appears to stay. To remove the residue from the dentures, they suggest purchasing their cleaning tablets. In any case, my dentist told me that I cannot use their cleanser because the materials in mine are not compatible with them. So, when I go to sleep, I soak them in hot water for a short period of time. After rubbing the residue overnight, it is soft enough to be removed with your fingernail later in the morning. Furthermore, I keep orange sticks on hand so that I can easily scrape the most difficult residue off my dentures without damaging them. As warm water softens the residue on my dentures, I can assume that a good cup of coffee or hot tea will have the same effect on the gums. I don't drink either coffee nor tea so I have no idea if that will loosen the dentures for you. There's no sign of the seal being affected by hot soup, however The hot liquid may also soften the gums once the seal is broken, but I assume it would also loosen any residue left there.

Cushion Grip has been in use by my Dad for over 50 years and now they no longer make Do you think this product will work well as a ?

Cushion grip had never worked for me before, but this product seems to have worked for me in terms of longevity When I don't eat any food, it takes me about 5 hours to get through the day. Hopefully, this will be more helpful for you after reading my experiences using this product.

In the last three weeks, seven extractions were performed and an immediate denture was fitted. It's too soon for Secure, isn't it?

If your gums are sensitive, then it will depend on how sensitive they are right Give it a try if you're looking for something that has staying power. It can also expand a little so it might even work as a cushion for you.

Selected User Reviews For Secure Waterproof Denture Adhesive - Zinc Free - Extra Strong Hold For Upper, Lower or Partials - 1.4 oz

As opposed to other products, this product will make you forget about your dentures for a while
4/5

For one thing, I don't have a lower As I did not use adhesive for my lower partial, it stays in place perfectly without adhesive. I fear the day I will lose my anchor teeth on my lower jaw. As far as I can tell, I have tried all of the denture adhesives I could find on the local American market (including pads, powders, and creams). Security Dental Cream isn't available in any of the stores near where I live or travel frequently. I was not satisfied with the other creams. When you start eating, everything will start moving and it will take several minutes for the denture to be put in place. As a result of the reviews I found here on Amazon, I tried Secure. My experience with this product has been much better than anything else I've tried. My experience with burning has not been the same as that described by others. To get good results, I have found that preparing thoroughly is crucial. It is imperative that the denture is clean and A considerable amount of trial and error is required to determine the appropriate amount. Even though I use it more than the average user, I still find it works well Applying the cream to the denture with my finger coated the cream evenly. You can buy these devices on Amazon. I'm not sure if you've heard of this term, but you can buy them there. One finger of a cot is wrapped in a latex glove. By spreading the cream with something like this, you won't have to spend as much time cleaning your finger as you will putting it into your mouth. Everything sticks to this stuff. My method of applying cream is to cover the entire surface with it. In this way, all aspects of the surface contacting the roof of your mouth will be adhered to something, so you do not have to worry about it spreading throughout your mouth. Likewise, I do not just bite down as soon as I put my denture in. As you squeeze, you can feel the air and moisture escape from under there as you do this. You can feel it as you push and squeeze the entire surface, from the front to the back. In the end, there is no doubt. After removing my denture, I do not eat or drink for a good while. I tend to keep my denture in place for 12-18 months I've found that it's hard to remove a denture after 13 hours, and it's usually hard to reattach it after that. Also, sometimes when the seal breaks, and fluid or air get underneath the denture, it will reattach on its own. In addition to getting the cream off the denture, removing it afterward is also a difficult task, but all of this is worth the effort if you don't have to worry about your denture all day. Unfortunately, I have to be a bit long winded, but I recognize the importance of this info for those of us who suffer from this illness. It is my sincere hope that.

An evaluation of the following Among the Good, there are also some very bad things
3/5

Since there have been so many conflicting reviews of this product, I decided to purchase it and test it out What went on, good and bad, I'm going to share with you now. As with any other product, it can be applied to a denture just like any other the consistency is essentially the same. There is a light tan hue to the color. As soon as you insert the needle, you'll notice a burning sensation. This is not a severe condition, but it is noticeable, and it disappears In addition to the feeling of tightness and security, the dentures also feel secure. A good sign was the fact that it stayed that way all day. The food didn't move after I ate it. The denture was not penetrated by particles. I had problems with my denture that night when I took it off. In terms of removing the denture as a whole, it was not more difficult than normal denture adhesive, but the substance left behind was much more difficult to remove than normal denture adhesive as it required longer to remove from my gums as well as being impossible to remove all of it. There is no sign of the majority, but there are traces that seem firmly entrenched The thing I can't get off of, I have no idea how to do. The product was not suitable for me and I will not use it Three days have passed since we used the normal adhesive in conjunction with the cement - Remainder of residue can still be seen. I would be grateful to hear from someone who knows how to remove it. My dentures won't be cleaned with acetone it might work, but I won't use it on my dentures.

The dentures remain in your mouth for 24 hours
4/5

It is not intended to be a substitute for A water soluble paste. I've tried a lot, and none kept my particularly ill fitted dentures in place. It keeps my dentures in for 24 hours and allows me to eat most foods! This stuff keeps my dentures in for 24 hours and allows me to eat most anything! It is not recommended that you have poor fitting dentures, but I have not been able to acquire good ones after many attempts. For this particular brand, I find it best to apply it sparingly but spread it over a large area around actually use the flat side of a plastic orange peeler as a tiny spatula 1) It must be on dry dentures, I simply blot mine if they still have moisture The paper towel I use to dry off my gums where the dentures touch is also useful. My stomach is tight and for a half hour, I do not eat or drink. That's all I have to say. I simply wipe off the excess fluid using a tissue when I have too much and feel it leaking in my back for whatever reason. In addition, I discovered that if I leave the dentures in overnight (24 hrs) it's much easier to clean off my mouth and the dentures. I take them out before bed at night, and even if I take them out in the morning, there is still sticky residue on my dentures, and it is hard to get it off my gums and dentures. A real life saver, that is!.

In essence, the product does what its name promises SECURE Denture Adhesive! It was through YouTube that I learned about this product since I have recently purchased dentures (1 month)
5/5

A lot of people raved about it. Having read the reviews on Amazon, I decided to order the book. I highly recommend this product! Due to gum shrinkage, I had had a lot of problems getting my dentures to fit well. As a result of several relines at the dentist, the product was delivered yesterday afternoon, and I have already begun using After following the instructions on the box and the tips from the YouTube reviewers, I used the product as directed My upper and lower dentures were cleaned and thoroughly dried before using the adhesive. Once the adhesive was applied per the enclosed instructions, I smoothed it over the surface of both dentures and allowed it to soak in for 30 seconds before putting them It was hardly noticeable, but I did feel a slight tingling that was mentioned on the package. However, I noticed immediately that my dentures fit better than before! It did not harm me to wait for 30 minutes before eating and drinking. From the afternoon of the previous day through midday of the next, it lasted all day. We are well past the 12-hour limit mentioned in the box, and almost 24 hours have passed since we opened the box. I also noticed that because my dentures were now firmly in place, some irritation I had been experiencing went away, and my speech was more clear. I will order another product as soon as I finish this review. I hope it is available on Subscribe and Save!
Another bonus is that it is much easier to remove than the product I was using beforehand.
