Questions & Answers

Regardless of how they are arranged, the sheaths give a blurred image on the monitor. Could there be a better sheath on the market?

While we weren't using sheath for ours, we were wiping it down instead. It began to produce images that were 'fogged' after 3 months. It is likely that the camera was sprayed with disinfectant prior to being used.

According to the information I have seen here, it's compatible with Win Does that include the 64 bit version of Windows We can no longer use our Schick USB cam with 64 bit operating systems. ?

In short, yes. In my case, the version is

Could you please let me know how long the cord is?

Though I don't know the precise length of this belt, I have had no issues with it and highly recommend it. My USB cord goes from my laptop to the patient and there is plenty of length to cover any significant distance. If you have to cover a large area you might want to buy a USB extension cable

Are you able to use it with dent rid?

I'm not really sure what Dent Rid is but I am sure it will work with pretty much any software as long as you install TWAIN

My Dexcam 3 is far superior to this
5/5

It worked flawlessly for 6 years, but then it started to fail. I am a dentist. I had a Dexcam 3 that came with my practice. When I looked into replacing it, I found that it would cost about $3000. This was when I started looking at these cameras, which were recommended to me by a friend of mine. He has 12 of them in his office. I bought one to try it out and then bought two more, They are much better than the Dexcam, I think. It is possible to take photos closer to or a little farther away from the Dexcam, but it takes much longer to take photos close up. I never used it to take face shots or to take photos of more than one tooth anyway. When I was using my DSLR, I placed it on the tripod. Despite the fact that it can only focus up to a close range, the Prodent captures images quickly and has a better image quality than the Dexcam cameras. There is more sharpening in the image A crack is obviously easier to visualize if one can see it. This is great! I highly recommend it!.

The software has a great deal of A clinic with several domain types of windows is a good candidate for this Users have their own systems
3/5

Put it out of your mind. A service provider can only use this capture software on one user and at a time. * Try to install the software it will install in the home directory of the installation user. It is not covered by conventional care You can manually put this path in the /program files/ directory and it will still work for the original user. You won't have much luck if you force that app to run by making a shortcut. Two processes will generate a random capture. Tray icon will turn red and keyboard will stop responding, and tray icon will turn to red randomly. When I removed garbage software, I was able to use it by pressing space and not by manually pressing the capture button. By the 21st of July, I was using the most current capture software.

Three of these intraoral cameras were purchased by me for my practice
3/5

A little over four months ago, I purchased three of these intraoral cameras for my dental practice. The problem is that none of them are For a month or so, they all worked fine, then two of them began to blur, and one of them wouldn't turn on at all. After switching to DARYOU, I have never looked back. DARYOU has not yet caused any problems for me. You can only return items within one month if you buy them on Amazon and ProDent customer service is very difficult to contact. The camera in this link is NOT to be purchased.

The instructions are a joke, as the product works as expected
4/5

The user manual in the package sounds like it was translated by a 4th grader Translations that contain misspellings were not spell checked. The only catch is that it comes with its own app (which looks like it was made way back in the Windows 3 era) instead. As for compatibility with commercial software, it may take up to 11 days, so do not worry about it for home users. This current version of the app can only be used to communicate with commercial imaging software. Do not download it from the web site. I have not yet attempted to take a video, but the image quality is fine. Finally, make sure that you plug it into a USB 2. 0 port. You can't use it with a USB 1 port. It doesn't work on USB 0 ports. I currently have it plugged into a laptop running Windows 10 and I have no problems so far.

The XDR imaging software is easy to set up and use, and works with any camera
5/5

When Windows 7 installed the software automatically, I plugged the USB device into a USB port, then installed the XDR imaging software and it worked after correctly setting up the registry. I didn't have to download any third-party software for it to work. Remove the camera from the included holder when you are ready to capture images in order for the camera to turn on automatically. In order to turn off the camera, you will need to place it in the holder again. By pushing the button closer to the camera end, an image is saved or a picture is taken. By pressing the button closer to the cord end, you can freeze the image (unfreeze again by pressing). When the image is paused / frozen, you can save it by pushing the save button (the button closer to the camera end). When the image has been saved, the XDR software gives you the option of taking another image, provided you have created a template to take multiple images.

When the photo is enlarged, the image quality isn't the best, but you can still see what you need to. It has the added advantage of allowing patients to see what they previously could not. It saves me the time and energy of describing the problem or drawing pictures to clear up what is going.

Is a camera image fogged less than a month after the camera is purchased? The cameras from Prodent were purchased by our office, but they were fogged and out of focus within a month of purchase
3/5

We called their technical support number and were immediately told that the camera was wet and that the warranty was void despite the fact that we were using protective sheaths and never drenched the camera head in These cameras are not waterproof, so do not buy them at full price. Their more expensive cameras are waterproof. Invest in something productive instead of wasting.

In our opinion, it is superior to DexCam for education of patients on a daily basis
5/5

Simple pictures are easier to take with Fixed Focus. In our opinion, it is superior to DexCam for education of patients on a daily basis. It would be helpful to have a macro lens adapter for closeup imaging of cracks and crazes with transillumination. Thanks a lot and very happy to meet you It was a pleasant surprise to observe the It's possible to take pictures through the capture button on the camera, but to set and save the camera for the next image capture takes a mouse command rather than a keyboard shortcut It's a stopper/crazy All it takes is a mental change on the part of the maker. We do, however, have a greater chance of getting a successful image using the ProDENT than we do with our DexCam You can just click the mouse to save. This is useful for dental teams who want cameras in every operatory but don't understand the value of measuring return on investment (ROI) on the 10th day of use. It would take a 20th crown to even things up. Moreover, if paying thousands over the course of many years for a lousy monthly support plan that does not cover any and all problems you experience with a dental imaging device isn't in your budget- I think this might be a good fit for you, your practice, and your life.
