Does the trick with dop wax
5/5

I use the main basin for wax and stack my cabs in the two smaller basins to pre-melt the dop wax. Before dopping, preheat them. The large basin has enough wax in it to last for about a year. 10- Without filling it to the brim, 12 dops The pot includes an on/off switch, a temperature adjustment dial, and a heating indicator light. I usually set the temperature to maximum to melt the wax and then lower it slightly to keep it soft; the wax melts in about a minute or two. I'm wondering if those who claim it's not hot enough for dop wax are simply leaving the lid open? That's a lot of energy that's been squandered. The lid does warm up, but not to the point where my fingers are burned. I wish the unit was a little heavier because it tends to tip up when I lift the lid; however, you must remember to keep the pot securely in place while lifting the lid. PS: if you plan ahead of time Use tongs or something to heat your stones because they can get quite hot. If your cabs are small enough to fit in the small basins, simply dop your stick, stick it to your hot stone, and lift the stone out of the pot this way.

It is incapable of performing the task at hand
3/5

It does not melt the dop to a temperature that is suitable for use. I'm not in the least bit pleased. I'm almost done with the second dop wax machine I've tried from Amazon.

We have no problems with the bath in the dental laboratory where I work. We've been using it for two weeks and have had no issues.

Wax Pot
3/5

The outside of the product gets hotter than the trays, so I can't give it a five star rating.
