Questions & Answers

As I am planning on buying alginate to make a life cast, I was wondering what color it will turn when cast? Is it still white if it is a different color?

After it has crystallized fully, the alginate turns white and stays white. It will progress from a violet color when first mixed into a pink color when it begins to set, culminating in the white color after it has completely solidified.

How do I obtain the measuring scoop and water vial shown on the packaging for this product?

The measuring scoop is all you need.

What is the expiration date of this product?

I bought my bag in the middle of last year In late 2017 or early 2018. It has been stamped with the expiration date "2021" in the upper left quadrant of the front of my bag In June 2021, the "06" will be published (June

The denturist sent me a mix of stone and cement. Should this be able to cover this bottom impression?

It should be possible, since the specific alginate is designed for dental use, but I have used a variety of materials in it, from gypsum and plaster to plastic casting resins and epoxy resins

The body parts can easily be adapted for use in life casting

You can slow down the cure time by using room temperature water. I would estimate the temperature to be 70 degrees. This is a helpful change of color. Purple is in the process of mixing for 25 seconds. Pink in purple can be used right away. It turns white pink when it is almost solid and white when it is time to remove the object. This kit is used for cloning a willy. We added 3 more mold attempts for 20 dollars instead of 30 dollars for one attempt on cloning a Willy.

That's great! The details are very good, and everything blends together nicely
5/5

Use it for dental impressions or detailed models, mix it quickly, mix it with chilled water if you need more time, it will take you an additional minute before it turns pink and after it turns white and hard (it will also take longer in your mouth to set up). The mixture will set in less than 1 minute when you use warm water. If you can, use as cold a water as possible and store the finished mold in a glass container with damp cotton balls. If the mold dries out, it will shrink or crack, so you have 4-to 6-weeks to complete the project. For as long as you keep it moist, it will last 9 days. In order to get fine detail, you need to blend well and get rid of air by tapping, or by placing the mold on something that vibrates. The best way to ensure you get fine details is to use a digital scale. Volume mixing will not give you the best results as it is chemistry, go by the weight for best results. I used it frequently and had great success.

Look elsewhere, as this is not what you are looking for As a start

It appears that some people were not following the directions, based on the bad reviews. Not at all. In spite of my ability to follow directions and my detailed orientation, I failed to mix this three times. I tried with increasing amounts of cold water each time, but the second the water hit the powder, it immediately formed hard pellets and before I could integrate the water (less than 30 seconds), it The book is a total waste of time. There are other options. Would it be possible to add a few steps to Whenever I design a product that I know will work, I make sure all instructions are as clear as possible. The time I spent and money I lost needs to be returned.

It is now time to find the perfect If you're wondering where the scoop is, here it is That's not where it is

What's the scoop? She is someone we do not know. Instead, I found that the perfect ratio was 1 tablespoon of powder alginate and 2 tablespoons of

Again, I repeat Adding one tablespoon of powdered alginate per two tablespoons of water will give the best results! It is a pleasure to be of service to you. I hope your day is going well! We hope you enjoy our.

In my experience as an aspiring dental assistant, the product is just like what we use at the dentist's offices
5/5

I was able to accomplish this! The mixture does not set up too quickly as long as you mix it with cold water. You can tell how much time is left by the color of the progress bar as it sets up.

Your money is not worth it
3/5

The only way I could give this product a negative rating is to give it one. There was supposed to be a "7 gram scoop", but I didn't find it on the website The one I had didn't. In spite of going for an hour and a half and finding a kitchen scale to do gram measurements, I finally mixed the product. It set in less than 20 seconds the first time. didn't even manage to get it out of the container, and it turned out white. The second try was just a pile of It fell apart on the third try and was powdery. A complete waste of time. I will not bother you. It would be impossible for it to leave any kind of impression on anyone.

I found it to work! Having to weigh the powder and multiply it a little bit is necessary, but it does work! It is true that I used more water than I should have in order to give myself more working time, yet the mold still came out very firm
5/5

98 grams of molding powder and 1 ounce of liquid silicone were used in order to make a clone of a will. One and a quarter cups of Blending the powder into the cold water with a whisk and mixing as fast as possible resulted in an aerated solution without lumps. As a result of the quick set time, you don't need to stand there waiting for it to set up, which is great for the application I used it for. As well, the 7g scoop did not come with it. Since I have a gram scale, it wasn't an issue for me.
