Registration of the upper and lower teeth is known as the biting relationship. The bite registration process enables the upper and lower teeth to be captured in their current positions when they bite to see how they fit and hit. For crowns and bridges to fit properly within a patient's normal bite registration, they need to bite into a bite tray in their normal jaw position.

You can use these bite trays to make impressions for crowns, bridges and partial dentures. You've never had it easier to mold your teeth!

The bite trays are filled with a soft impression material that undergoes a chemical reaction to harden, so that when the mold is removed, your teeth will fit into the newly formed mold. Whenever the material is applied to the bite tray, a base and a catalyst are added, and the bite tray is put into the patient's mouth and allowed to harden. After the material has been set, it can be removed from the tray.
