As a Watercolor Palette, the White Tray is ideal

As an alternative to the traditional porcelain coated metal butcher tray, I purchased the white tray to use for watercolor mixing. It's less expensive and lighter, which is ideal for taking watercolor supplies on the road. A simple cleaning with toothpaste will help to prepare the surface for water/pigment puddling. It's also the perfect size, and I'll be recommending it to other watercolorists.

I ordered this to use to mix watercolor paints after scrubbing away the shine

Another reviewer seems to be doing the same thing. I scrubbed it with a rough cleanser to remove the shine so the paints wouldn't bead up; the cleanser worked better than the Magic Eraser at removing the shine. It should be done one more time. It's nice and light, and it's easy to hold. It also has a good-sized mixing area. I'll continue my search for a good, low-cost porcelain tray, but for now, this will suffice.

Is there a set of two or just one? This is a product I order frequently, and it usually comes with two trays; however, this time only one was included

I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to work or if they just made a mistake this time, but I'm not paying $6 for a tray when net32 sells them for $4. I continued to shop with you because I believed I was getting a good deal, but I'm not so sure now.
