First, the quality of the material and overall fit/finish of the grips is fantastic and they don't feel at all flimsy or loose. Onto the bad part, 2 of the hooks are so far off from what was advertised that it was almost painful to use. In the pictures, the smooth hook appears to have a much deeper bend, but the one I got has only a 90 degree bend this is not an issue for me because I mostly bought the set for the other three 3 is the one that upsets me the most My bend piece has a tip that has a kind of 45 degree offset, but mine does not have that bend and the tip is at an angle of 110 degrees instead. Several previous reviewers had said they had been pleased with this set, so I may just have been unlucky and had a couple of defective sets.
You're going to find a variety of Moody Tools here for a few bucks a poker, and the Avery for three for a few bucks as well, if you look on here for single ended probes I use these mainly for handling and dabbing concentrates. They are 5x the price. Although the Avery tool will outlive your grandchildren, it will also be expensive. The choice is mine.
As I used the tools for the first time, I found that the curves of the tools were not consistent with the pictures, and two of the probes came loose and fell right out.
Excellent Small, sharp, precise points that effectively loosen deposits such as carbon and other contaminants in tight, hard-to-reach places There are places within the action of a firearm or any other mechanism that are hard to reach. The finish will easily be scratched off of blued or coated steel parts if you use them incorrectly. A polymer gun (or other) is also necessary - Tipton is a good brand To clean your house, pick up a cleaning pick In spite of the fact that they are not as good at removing hardened deposits, at least they do not leave scratches on surfaces.
This tool is a good choice for electronic work as well as, I guess, any miniature work requiring small, steel-tipped.
