I have a few loose probes from another set. A good deal, if I may say so. This is especially true of the knurling over the length of the handle and the case that There are differences between what I got and the picture that was posted. The handles are knurled in some areas but not in others. They are also a little thin on the handles. As far as the case is concerned, it is adequate, but do not pull too hard. There isn't anything better that I have seen so I'm keeping them because they are here. I would definitely return if it were not for the case. Additionally, it includes a variety of probe types and the tips are plastic tubing so they can be conveniently stored. I like how it turned out. They should be able to accommodate whatever I ask of them.
The thing you need is a real one when you need it. This set would be right at home in your dentist's office. The mirror is even designed to look like one used in dentistry. There is every shape I could ever imagine to guide something to the right spot. I highly recommend these instruments if you want to encourage something to get into the right place. You can also use it for modeling clay or filler to get the details back after.
