Hello, the mirror is made of genuine glass.
It's made of vinyl.
There isn't a 2x magnification on it. That may be a good idea, but the fact that it has a light makes a huge difference in comparison to one that does not. It's amazing when I use it with my lighted 10x mirror. Every angle inside my mouth is visible to me in great detail. I hope this has been of assistance.
I use a soft towel and warm water to clean. I haven't tried it in the shower.

Skip! First, the "peel here" sticker that was stuck to the "mirror" left a sticky residue. I tried wiping away the dirt with a soft cloth. Nope. Wiping with alcohol didn't work because the soft towel scratched the surface. A TOWEL THAT IS SOFT? Finally, I had to use GooGone to get rid of it. It's impossible to clean, and it definitely fogs up after about 1 minute, despite the manufacturer's claims to the contrary. Plastic that is inexpensive. Certainly not worth the money.
It appears that the reflective surface is chrome rather than glass, as it scratched easily during the first use. Everybody's medicine cabinet should have this! I wish I had known about this a long time ago. PSAs are needed to promote dental tools like this one, as well as others available on Amazon - Dentists will be forced to close their doors!.
My dentist recommended that I use revealing tablets to check how well I was brushing my teeth. I couldn't see the backs of my teeth, which was a problem for me. This mirror does an excellent job of revealing the backs of the teeth. It works well in part because it has a bright light (which also helps show the fronts of the teeth).
I removed the seal from the mirror (which they claimed was real glass but isn't) and wiped it down with alcohol as instructed, but it's scratched and coated. The mirror immediately fogs up as well. I paid $5 for a product that I would not recommend. It's a shame that shipping is only 99 cents for one day.
This is meant to be a light-up dental mirror. It fogs up the mirror, which appears to be made of paper. The light and the handle are both excellent. Not a pen, but a dental mirror is what I require. light. Sorry to say, but there were some great ideas that went into making this, but where is the mirror?.
It's a nice LED mirror to use for applying eyelashes. The mirror bend is a little too L-shaped, in my opinion. shaped. Even if you try it on your mouth, the bend is excessive, making it difficult to see inside the mouth along the gum line. It does, however, work a little better for applying eyelashes. Because the light is bright, you can see the placements and gaps in an eyelash application more clearly. This should only be sold as an LED mirror for applying eyelashes. Overall, this is a good mirror.
This Mouth Mirror is not a good investment. It's a waste of money. After only one month of use, the mirror's film surface cracked. As a result, the product's use was not good/impossible, resulting in a rip-off of the customer! Made for a low price. Manufacturer with a low cost. AVOID. AVOID. br>br>THEY SHOULD CONTACT ME AND EITHER REFUND MY MONEY OR REPLACE THE CRAPPY MORMWELL D959 MOUTH MIRROR. PUBLICITY FOR THE PEOPLE IS AMAZING. BUY THIS GARBAGE MOUTH MIRROR AT YOUR OWN RISK. The view of the mouth is excellent, and the device is easy to operate. Please note that there is a protective film covering the mirror that must be removed. You'll think it came with a bad mirror if you don't! It's also an excellent mirror.
