Despite the lack of a removable cover on the mirror, there was no issue. The shaft, on the other hand, is corroded. Along the knurl section, it's starting to rust. I made an attempt to remove the rust. No luck. It claims to be made of stainless steel. The one star is due to this. BUYING IS A MISTAKE.
It has a cheap feel to it, and it is poorly constructed. I ordered two, but they arrived in various shapes and sizes, with one clearly being used (package opened, black stains on the holder). I'm not sure why this product isn't returnable.
They are black on the handle and in the mirror, despite the fact that he claims they were unforgettable steel at the time of nationalization. I don't recommend them because I believe they have deceived me.
If you want to check your teeth, don't buy this. It becomes foggy almost immediately. I've tried everything, including holding my breath while using it, but it immediately fogs up and is useless for inspecting my back teeth.
It's a solid dental instrument. Between dentist visits, this is a great way to keep track of what's going on with your back teeth. To avoid fogging the mirror, use your other hand to hold a flashlight and reflect the light off it, while holding your breath.
Solidity is excessive. Personally, I think it's a little too heavy-duty for at-home novice use. I could see it chipping a tooth if it slips from your grip. It slammed into one of my teeth, causing excruciating pain. The mirror works, though it does fog up a lot, which is to be expected. Because it is too heavy, it receives a one-star rating. But that's just my opinion.
It easily fogs up. I also wish I had gone for the one with the light.
Perfect!.
