Wow! This is a true "professional" dental cleaning tool! Unfortunately, in the time between dental visits, I accumulate a lot of tartar. I've tried a lot of teeth scapers over the years to get rid of tartar, but I've never been satisfied with the scraper tools. I've bought "basic" teeth scrapers from Target and "high quality" ones from the internet, but neither of them seem to work as well as the ones the dental hygienist uses. The "basic" tool tips were not sharp enough, while the "quality" tool tips had strange shapes and frighteningly sharp tips- This isn't something you'd want near your teeth. I recently bought a G. S tool, and it has a very professional feel to it. The tip is made of durable metal that tapers to a nice round sharp tip. They're also single-sided, which I like. The dual-sided tools have a habit of poking me in the bottom of my hand, and the five-pack price is very reasonable. My search for the ideal tooth cleaner has finally come to a successful conclusion.

These are made of stainless steel and are extremely durable. They appear to be exactly as shown in the photo. A steel handle with a very thin hook. Surgical quality appears to be the case. Food always gets stuck between my teeth, and a toothpick won't fit in those spaces. These are extremely useful for removing it. They are extremely sharp, and I filed one down slightly to make it less so. I also bent it with pliers to make it a little straighter so that it would better fit my needs. I'm glad I found these because a set of five will last me a long time.
