You don't use a clean tool until it's been sterilized
There is a mark on the tool that says stainless steel, Pakistan, but this Having bought my item, I am pleased with it.
My degree is not in dental hygiene, but this is the appropriate instrument that dentists use to remove tartar or plaque. You know, tartar found between teeth, where dental floss cannot reach, and obviously, in all areas of the tooth near the gum line (border).

The use of. Invest a little more in this situation as you may be worse off than you would if you saved a few bucks. You are better off buying one quality tool instead of three cheaper ones In a piece In order to They are poorly made and only cost $10. As you can see, the tool is made of stainless steel, is well made, and I believe it to be a legitimate dental tool (note that I am not a dental hygienist or dentist, but work in the healthcare industry). Due to the fact that it has sharp edges, it should be handled with caution. As with any tool that will be in contact with bodily fluids or membranes, it is imperative that it is sterilized before use. To get rid of tartar, try scraping it off with This is a gritty story As soon as you no longer feel that gritty sensation Stop scraping or your enamel will be damaged. Make sure the tool slides more smoothly. You should also leave the scraping up to the experts if you are not able to visualize what you are doing. The use of this, even when used judiciously, does not absolve the need for regular dental visits for a complete oral examination. One minor complaint I wish there was some form of case on this item to protect both the points, and to protect myself from their sharp ends. All in all, a strong recommendation.
My permanently lingual retainer prevents me from flossing near the top of my lower teeth (I use a proxy brush to remove the food particles between the contacts, but it is impossible near the top of my teeth), and so staining forms where my contacts are. After a recommendation from my dentist, I purchased this scaling tool to treat this issue. Having said that, I used to work in a dental office, and so I have a healthy respect for how sharp these are, and the damage they can inflict if not used properly. It is recommended that you consult your dentist prior to using this on yourself, and have them or their assistant or hygienist show you how to use it safely and effectively without damaging your teeth or harming.
Despite only having used it a couple of times, mine broke. The purpose of the tool was to scratch a bit of resin (lightly). There is no guarantee of durability with these.
Using this scaler will produce professional-quality results. In my experience as a former dental technician who uses this scaler to clean my dog's teeth, I highly recommend it.
They wanted to charge me $12,000 to remove the damage that this tool caused.
In fact, I go to the dentist every 6 months for a thorough However, no matter how much we brush, we can still feel the buildup before that. They are heavy and look like the ones dentists I have never had a problem with it!.
If you are one of those "at home scalers," you need to purchase one like this or something similar. By preventing plaque from forming between appointments with the hygienist.
The tooling is excellent and has a great grip. Wish there were more tools made as well as these.
