Questions & Answers
They are medium weight, tightly woven, and absorbent, just as you requested. I would have returned them if they were not cheese cloth or gauze-like. These are great for drying my dishes rather than leaving them wet.
I did tie dye them, and they turned out beautifully.
Burp cloths made from cloth diapers are the best, and if you forget to pick up diapers, you'll have a backup until you get to the store. When you're done with your baby, use them as dust rags or car wash rags. Despite the fact that I haven't had a child in diapers since 1993, I still keep cloth diapers on hand. house
I would, in fact. They shrink a little, but there's probably a sizing on them that prevents the paint from adhering properly. Fabric softener is something I would avoid as well.

They're fantastic, and I'm going to order some more. br>br>In the 1970s, I lived in England for five years. PAPER TOWELS were never purchased in any quantity. Why? We used tea towels, which were washable and reusable and did everything a paper towel could do. br>br>Watching everyone go crazy at Costco buying dozens of rolls of PT caused me to reconsider my Coronavirus strategy. It was simple to change out the paper towels. I'll let you know when I find a suitable substitute for toilet paper. Alternatively, please notify me.
I also wrote a review for the Utopia brand 12 pack of towels, which I compared to these. br>br>The bottom line: br>br>These towels wash and dry more "squarely" than the others, which I think is a plus. br>br>While these towels are slightly smaller than the other brand, they appear to be more "polished" in my opinion. "If that's important to you, I'd suggest purchasing these towels for embroidery and gifting. " br>br>At least at this price point, these towels are slightly less expensive than the other brand. br>br>In the image above, washed and dried towels are stacked on top of one another for size comparison. On the bottom, the Utopia towel is the larger of the two.
I got these to apply HTV to for my customers, and the first two I pulled out were perfect; they feel high-quality and are extremely soft. However, when I went to pull the next two out tonight, I discovered that the stitching on the ends is loose, and they will most likely fall apart after the first wash. So I go through the rest of the package and find two more with stains and another with loose stitching. I'm not sure about you, but I'm not going to tell my clients about this. These should have been double-checked before being sent to anyone! I'd like a refund or 5 brand new, perfect towels sent to me. The photos are of the 5 towels that had these problems in total, and they clearly show the flaws. When I hear back from the seller, I'll update my rating.
They're not square, have a lot of strings, and after just one wash, it's clear they won't last.
After reading the reviews, I decided to buy them anyway. br>br>We dyed ties with them, and they turned out beautifully. Yes - I noticed a strange odor, but it went away after I washed them twice. All of the cloths have a slightly different texture. br>br>I gave it 5 stars because I bought them for use in the kitchen and they work as expected, they were also VERY affordable (which I expect when I buy affordable), and they all came out really nicely tie dyed. br>br>I didn't go out and buy these expecting them to smell like Doterra's Breathe Mix or Chanel No5.
I ordered the premium variety, but it felt like I got the basic. If you're going to use these as rags or straining materials, make sure they're clean. I'm sure they'll be fine. br>However, I'm sure they won't last long. br>br>I bought them to tie dye with, and the Utopia brand fabric had a much tighter weave. If you're planning on using them for a high-end special occasion, don't buy them.
You can see right through these Tea Towels due to their thinness. The hem around the edges is on the verge of unraveling. I bought these to embroider, but they're not worth the time; I'll use them in the kitchen, but they won't last long.
For gifts, I wanted to heat press photos onto these towels. Diamonds, rather than squares, are the shape of the towels. I gave the fabric to my husband to use in his shop because it is of good quality.
