When I'm doing acrylic nails and the monomer won't pass through the paper, I'll use these. I believe it's due to the fact that each one has a clear plastic backing. Although I liked the absorption, I think I'll stick to paper towels like Viva and Bounty. The bibs don't dry completely, so if you wipe acrylic on them, you'll be able to see where you wiped it later.
These are disposable tray covers that I bought. My nail art (painting, stamping, acrylics poly, nail art, etc. ) is done on a folding tray. They are ideal for this purpose and will undoubtedly protect my small table. I do have one complaint about them, which is that you must carefully pull them out, as I've torn a couple of them. Aside from that issue, they're fantastic.
I wasn't expecting them to be absorbent, but I also wasn't expecting them to start falling apart around the edges when wet. It got wet from the towel touching it while I was giving a client a facial, and it began to fall apart and get caught in her hair. I'm returning them and reordering the ones I normally use because they were a complete waste of money.
I decided to buy these after reading in a Facebook group that they could be used for nail art or practicing. It's a breeze to clean up.
I like that it's waterproof and it's the right size.
It was a good size, but I was expecting it to be a little thicker. It's not even close to being waterproof. Water has passed through the dark spot you see.
I like black, and I've been using it in my studio for over a decade. Although they are of good quality, they are not black. It has a darker tone to it. True black is another color I've gotten. It may not appear to be a significant difference, but the price difference is significant.
