There's no chance of that happening. I guess you can try turning it down and having it put in a lathe so that it's a bit thinner. There is no difference in pitch between 40 and 41, only that 40 is wider

No set screws are used on the outside of the cabinet. 3 1/2" by 5 1/2" by 3 1/2"

In a nutshell, A good quality idler sprocket appears to be included in this package. The unit has been installed in a very harsh location, namely in a chain tensioner, so that we can see how long it will last.

Replacement is required

Since I've been using it to replace a very poorly designed sprocket on a snow blower, I don't expect to have to buy them again very soon. I had to replace them about every two years at twice the price with the others.
