The answer is yes.
My broken one was recently replaced by a new one I bought recently. It is 3/8". I did not measure the bore, but I am fairly confident it is There's no doubt this one is stronger than the one sold at Home Depot.
Yes, they don't come with hardware, and you have to replace them in pairs, so if one goes, the other will follow shortly thereafter.
It is impossible for me to provide you with an answer regarding weight or size. Assuming you are using this for a garage door, I have several answers related to my own experience. My house built in 1984 came with a very heavy garage door that was installed by the contractor. With a plywood front and back filled with foam, the door measures over 2 inches thick. There is a power door opener on the power box, but it does not work because it is 7' tall and 16' wide, and it takes two men to lift it when down. While the cable is 5/32 of an inch in diameter, its strength has nothing to do with the size of the cable. As a matter of fact, I went 33 years without a failure in this pulley on my garage door, and the new ones I got from Amazon to replace all of the pulleys are doing just fine and I do not expect to have to replace them any time soon. An engineer is like a tailor who will build you a watch if you ask him a question. On the flip side, engineers tend to ask a lot of technical questions before making a purchase. This is the good news and I hope this helps you in answering

I find these pulleys to be quite thin and flimsy in comparison to my old ones. While they are sloppy bearings that wobble almost as much as the worn-out ones that were replaced, it appears that for now, they are working.
What I ordered came (damn, I didn't order a coffee maker lol) well made
Quick installation
And it fixed my garage door (I ordered the right part, not the coffee maker that kept freezing out.
The pulleys fit along the top rail quite easily, even though they are made from reclaimed redwood. It is a very satisfying result for her, and I am thrilled with it as well.
I purchased a replacement pulley to match the existing one on my garage door. It is of good quality.
These were the rollers that I used to make a barn door out of materials I had. Some old gate strapping was found and I drilled the holes to match the placement requirements for the bolt and pulley. I was able to save over 150 dollars. For the barn door hardware kit, you will need $ 00.
That's not what we want!.
Use it as a counterweight pulley simply attach it to the stud to add an additional weight. These are great for suspending bicycles and wheelbarrows, as well as small utility trailers and extension ladders. Whether alone or with a partner.
By replacing my 3 inch pulleys on my garage door with this 4 inch pulley, I am able to increase the capacity considerably. There were no issues with the fit. I am hoping that these larger pulleys will last longer than the smaller.
