You might be able to do that. There is quite a bit of weight to it.
I find it easy to use. My donut was set in place on top after using this tool to dig it out

These donuts are solidly built but measure accurately. The tops of my sprinkler heads have been covered with St. Augustine grass, so I have borrowed my neighbor's trimmer to remove it. The frequency varies from 3 times per year to 6 times per year. Since I would like to trim them more often, I decided to take the plunge and buy my own trimmer rather than asking my family and friends to let me borrow it. Now that we have the history out of the way, this trimmer stands out among the competition when it comes to quality and appearance. this trimmer are razor sharp and I can tell just by its weight how high-quality it is. The moment the trimmer was delivered, I took it out of the box. My journey didn't go well as the 6" trimmer does not fit around the sprinkler donut. Please see the attached images. Because I assumed it would work, I made a big mistake. I would recommend adding the diameter of irrigation donuts compatible with the reservoir to the description, however. The trimmer will be returned and I will buy the 7" version instead of this one. I still rate this product as a 5 star product. It is much better than the cheap aluminum trimmers you can find at Lowe's The quality of the product is determined by the price. There is nothing that can break this thing!.
Do not buy the aluminum version with a few spot welds because it is much cheaper. Purchasing this in June of 2013 is what I did. Back in 2005, I used one of my neighbors This worked great in 2006 and it only required a little bit of work to complete the task. But you don't have to be a body builder to be strong in the upper body. In lieu of my neighbor's move, I live in Indiana now. Hence, for about 6 years, I was unable to remove the grass from my landscaping sprinkler heads due to the grass covering the cement doughnut. If you pass it along to your children, this tool will last for the rest of your life and the life of their parents. As much as six or seven of the aluminum models with spot welds I bought were a lot cheaper. I would be able to go around my house with 16 sprinkler heads using one of those per time. There was nothing worth buying in that product. There are several neighbors who have seen their cutters destroyed on their first and second sprinkler heads after buying the cheap aluminum version. This was a waste of time and money for all involved, including the return trip to HD or L**wes to get My prior destroyed purchases were dealt with in a similar fashion. The quality of the product is determined by the price. It's about twice as expensive, but it'll last a lot longer. This is the real thing. The working end is protected by about a half mile of packing tape around the cardboard, which can be seen around the teeth of the tool. This would have helped me a lot if I had discovered it earlier. When I found this, I immediately bought it. I always check the internet every few months to see what's new. The only complaint I have is that some of the cement sprinkler header protectors are about 1/16 to 1/8 It is a pain to have to do this. The cutter is not at fault, it is the cement. The result is that this is more difficult to navigate. Any cement rings that are a bit thinner all around should be checked by me when I am in HD/L*wes stores. It's a good buy, according to me. Buy this instead of the cheaper aluminum version. It will last forever. Invest your time and money in the expensive version instead of wasting your money on the budget.
As an elderly woman who does not relish onputting donuts around my new sprinkler system, I was relieved at the ease with which this could be used. Cutting the sod around the sprinkler head is easy and quick with this head trimmer. Because it is sharp and heavy, it is easy Over the aluminum ones that are cheaper, this is highly recommended.
This is a quality product without a doubt. It definitely feels as if it is solidly made and will stand up to that makes a circle out of your grass with little effort? No, it does the job well, but you have to exert some effort. When I got the hang of it, it worked great for me, since I have thick St Augustine grass.
I find it to be just right for my needs.
I'm very happy with that!.
Even small roots can be cut well with this knife. I found it to be very There are already a couple of friends who have borrowed it, and I would definitely recommend it to them!.
As a result of cutting the grass that had grown over my lawn sprinklers, I liked how my lawn looked better.
