I don't have access to my rods at this time, but 200mm is 20 cm, so it is 7 mm. There are 87 inches in length. When I used them, I had to fit them into an 8" box. The threaded rod is on one side and the straight rods are on the other. It was a really good deal on some good stuff.
Approximately 20 mm
I believe the 8mm leadscrew is 8mm, not sure what the second part of your question is about.
Would you consider barrens a good thing or a bad thing?

Unfortunately, the rail supports are trash! Some base mounting holes are randomly out of alignment by a couple of millimeters, in X & Y There is no use for them. This review will be changed if the vendor has corrected this problem and is able to send me reasonable replacement parts. If not, be aware that at least some items in this kit are garbage.
Even the holes aren't centered and they are not straight either. Various linear rod mounts are available. I hope this can be resolved. I'm dissatisfied with the situation.
While it is a high precision slide, in a low precision application, one may not be satisfied. It is not as good as a high precision slide. appears to be multiple start and has a pitch of 10mm, which means it is good for speed, but not for precision. The nut on the screw has a lot of slop too, but at least it is reasonably priced. Unloaded, the slide blocks are noisy and seem a bit rough, but when loaded they are not that bad.
The first thing you need to do when purchasing this is to toss out all the bolts and screws it comes with. They are utter waste of time Even before I had the chance to tighten them, they broke. There was almost a sense of humor in it. And I just checked Guinness World Records, but I don't see a category for the smallest linear sliding bearings physically possible to make, but I'm confident if they did, there would be a top ranking for these. These tiny particles are a fraction of the size of the tiny solder bead that you would brush off a PCB after finishing it. It is quite impressive in fact. Though, I would have to agree that lead screws and couplings are excellent.
There is a very low quality to these. You can lower it to whatever level you wish. In some cases, the parts do not function until they are fixed. In most cases, alignment is the problem. It's impossible to ensure that the features of the mounting brackets are Using realignment tools means you'll have to be very sure of your alignment, and be very diligent when you're bolting everything down.
I would just like to add some important information about leadthread here that is not The diameter is Eight millimeters, pitch There are 4 thread starts
This means that if your step per mm calculation was done using 2mm, you will have to divide it by 4 since there are 4 thread starts.
There is no better way to describe the slide block runout than this. It was found that the bearings were pressed into the pillow blocks at an angle of several degrees. The kit would never make my list of recommended products.
The shipment was delayed for a few days due to some issues with the dispatch, but Amazon gave me advance notice, so I could be calmer. It was not delivered on the expected date, but it did arrive. My purchase is exactly in line with the description on the website. Finally, I am very satisfied with my purchase.
