These knobs were purchased to replace some large wingnuts on a telescope tripod made of wood. I needed six, and these came in a package of seven for a reasonable price. If you need more dimensions, the head is approximately 1-inch in diameter and looks much better than the wingnuts. The cylindrical base, which is 7/8" in diameter and adds 9/16" to the overall height, is 1/2" in diameter and 1/2" high.
I used these to replace some nuts on my roof basket, and they're much better than the ones that came with it. Screwing them on feels much more secure and comfortable. I'd suggest it.
It's a lot better than the original handles that came with my shower extension. If I ever needed 8mm treaded handles, I would definitely buy them again.
Perfect for arthritic hands to replace the inconvenient single-handed ratchet type of tightening.
Fast delivery and good quality. It was exactly what I was looking for. I'm using it on the table of my drill press.
