I bought 10x100ft, which was 10 spools of different colors (black, white, red, blue, green, yellow, brown, orange, violet, and gray), each with a different color (red, blue, green, yellow, brown, orange, violet, and gray). A six-spool set is also available, I believe. br>Nice solid core wire, ideal for prototyping and fine tuning. projects on the drawing board

Although the wire is excellent, the insulation is excessively thick

I've been using this wire to make circuits on a solderless breadboard. It has fewer breadboards and is more adaptable. The only issue I have is that the insulation is far too thick for my liking.

Except for the thickness of the insulation, perhaps. The insulation is a tiny bit thicker than I would prefer but I'm 100% satisfied with this hookup wire.
