A jacket of exceptional quality. The quality of this wire is astounding. It can withstand extremely high temperatures from soldering without smoking, melting, or deforming. The jacket is rated at 105 degrees Celsius, while all other solid "hookup wire" types are rated at 75 degrees Celsius. The wire jack and wire bend nicely as well, and when you bend the wire several times, the jacket remains tight and precise, and the wire does not deform or fall apart. In conclusion, the wire's jacket is extremely durable while also being extremely soft. br>br>The colors of this wire are also quite attractive. "Plusivo," the other company I tried, had the most obnoxious colors I'd ever seen. The blue was a strange toxic light purple blue, and the green was an extremely strange super light green. Because the wire was so unappealing, I decided to try Remington wire instead, primarily because the colors are so much more vibrant and accurate. br>br>I needed a wire that could handle a lot of custom soldering of small connections on circuit boards, and this wire exceeded my expectations. Finally! br>br>Unlike low-quality and non-heat-rated wire, the wire jacket stays tight around the wire and does not melt or peel back after soldering. Since I ordered some of the generic no name brand wire, and I also received the Remington brand wire, I was skeptical. The wire on which the no name brand was branded had a very soft and mushy jacket, which melted into and warped when it was hot on the solder. br>br>I am so impressed with this wire; please don't waste your money on other brands; this wire is orders of magnitude better than the dreadful 75 C stuff they're selling.
